Xyron Creatopia - LOVE!

I did a demo in a distributor's booth at CHA and the Xyron ladies were next to me with the Creatopia. I always thought it was just a big sticker maker! LOL

After seeing all that it can do, I am totally sold on buying one. It has separate attachments to laminate, apply adhesive, emboss, diecut (with any die on the market that can go in a Big Shot), cut decorative borders...and they have fabric adhesive!! I don't work for them at all and no, I did not get any freebies I just wanted to share that I think this machine is really cool. And when I got home last night, my Scrapbooks Etc was sitting on my desk and they had featured the Creatopia in their embossing article. Is that a sign?! :P

No, but I have been looking at and thought it was really neat idea a year ago when they introduced it, but I never saw anything on it.

Would you still buy it if you had their larger sticker machines and the cricut???

My LSS had it on sale 2 weeks ago ($99) and I wasn't sure if it was worth it... now I want it , how much did you pay for it?? how easy is to use??

I did not buy on yet. They are coming out with a new platform for it that is more money than $99 (I think around $300) so I would buy it at your LSS if I were you. I plan to get it myself.

I don't have a Cricut, I have a Silhouette, and I would still buy the Creatopia. I probably would still buy it if I have to bigger Xyron machines since this one does fabric and 12x12.

It was love at first sight for me. I saw it in a magazine when it first came out and have wanted one since then. Michaels had one on clearance for $60 and I just didn't have the money to get it; so bummed! I have always wanted it for the borders and to the ability to emboss 12". I'll get one one day!

I actually just sold mine. I bought everything for it thinking how cool it was and only used it maybe 2 or 3 times.

I was gifted one a year ago and don't use it much. I found the cutters to inconvenient to use and the full embossing rollers don't emboss in the middle as well as the edges. All of them do it; but I did decide not to worry about it much as my photos usally go in the middle.

I do like the edge embossers and the fabric adhesive unit. I don't have the embossing folder attachement as love my Big Shot.

I fell abandoned by them as they have not come out with any new embossing rollers in a year...that's not right.

Honestly, I could live without the Creatopia and glad I didn't have to pay for it. But as you know...different strokes for different folks.

I have this machine and ALL the attatchments, but unfortunately have never taken any part of it out of the packaging. J's had the whole line clearanced out nearly 90% off last year so I bought all of it for under $130. Just couldn't pass it up for the price. But, I love it and plan to have it all set up when I have more room

I thought that this thing looked really cool, but I never see anything on it...ever!! No new rolls or anything, and I saw that it was clearance-ing out everywhere I figured they were going to quit making it!
