musical cards on your scrapbook pages?

hi everyone!
i recently got some of those cards that play music when you open them up from some friends and it got me curious if i could use the music part ONLY on a lo? has anyone successfully done this? i have one that plays the harry potter theme and thought it would be cute to add it to a lo i will be doing from when my friends and i saw the movie last week. i have a sounds easy, but would rather not use it as i don't use it for every book i do. i also have some electronic record it's, but they are not always the easiest thing to hide and i had bad luck with one getting it's button stuck (due to the weight of my album lol). any tips? tia

favoriting this. so I can come back and see sughestions...I just saw the movie Easy A and she had that pocket full of sunshine song in a card....as I was watching the movie I was making a scrap page with a pocket that I called "Full of Sunshine." Went to Wally world to find the card but had no luck.

Are you asking if you can take the card apart and just use the button on a LO?

Don't they work based on the pressure of the card? When you open the card (and release the pressure), the music plays, right? So, when someone turns the page/LO that is right before this LO, the music should start to play.

You did mention that your scrapbooks are heavy. If the LO with this button is towards the back of the book, it may get smashed by the weight of the other LO's if you store your books flat. Isn't it better to store the books upright anyway?

yes, i pretty much just want to incorporate the music/button part of the card. the books are kept upright on a shelf, but the record it i used in the past still got stuck lol.

I still think you could use it this way. I might just have to try it with one of DH's 50th b-day cards!

I've used a thick embellie that lights up when you push the little button. It was a crown on the LO's for our rodeo queen. Those ended up in the middle of the album somehow (it doesn't make sense now, but obviously did at that time ). I made foamy spacers to put in between the LO before this one to help keep the pressure off. Maybe you could try a few of those?

Many years ago at Archivers I remember seeing recording things for scrapbooks much like the ones in cards but you pressed the button and it played.

I wonder if they still have those things? I'd love to try them. With that you could hold it against the card and record the theme song.

Bill and I loved the song Happy Together when we were kids and I would love to do a page like that of one of our old old pictures and put that button and song on the page.

This was much smaller. Like almost side and you didn't have to put it in a recorder to play it. Like the greeting cards. It played when you pushed it. Want to check those out.

The first one has stickers that you put on your pages so you can reference the player but that isn't what I nearly bought and now regret that I didn't.

I have a dvd of our wedding ceremony and would love to put that on one of those tiny gizmos and put it on the inside cover of my wedding book.
