How long does it take stickles and other glitter glues to dry??

I'm DIY'ing some glitter flowers/leaves. I raided my mother stash of flowers she kept when she made flower arrangements. I'm going to add the Studio G glitter glue to them, but how long does it take them to dry?

Too darn long! haha. I think they are a magnet for my finger because it seems like anytime I use stickles I end up sticking my finger in them at some point. Seriously it all depends. The room temp and humidity, how thick thick it is applied. Someone said a heat gun can be used to speed up the drying time but I have never tried it yet. I am new to stickles/glitter glues too.

The cat got curious and had one stuck to her! (( She is a little ))

Not real thick. Just on he edges of the flowers but the leaves are completely covered in a very thin layer. No heat gun. Guess I will just have to wait til morning! lol

Where I live (low humidity), a thin layer dries in about 15-20 minutes. If I've glopped on a lot, it can take overnight.

My cat once stuck her entire face in my stickled project. Her whiskers were stickled for weeks.

I put the Stickles on last so they can dry overnight. Otherwise I can't help being tempted to touch, then I end up messing up my project.

Yeah, Stickles are a cat magnet...there must be a hundred entries of stickled kitties in this forum! Poor things, it must drive them bonkers until it comes off, too....

I, too, believe in letting it dry overnight, just to be safe. If I remember correctly, it's not recommended to heat dry regular Stickles (they bubble), but the Distress Stickles can handle it.

It's like getting to the center of a tootsie roll pop....I have no idea how long it takes Stickles to dry, because I ALWAYS end up with my arm/hand/something in them before they are dry....I have to physically leave my scraproom for the evening in order for them to actually get dry without being destroyed.

Yeah, I leave it to dry overnight because I'm terrified I'll touch it too soon and ruin it.

stickled some this morning, they were dry in a couple hours, not very thick though. I too touched them too soon. I try to go away and leave them for a while.

I usually let mine dry overnight-just to be on the safe side.

Yeah - usually it's the last thing I do on the project and leave it overnight, because like the others, it either gets bumped or I end up ruining it

I am an overnighter too! Distress Stickles can be sped up with the heat gun, but NOT regular glitter glue. It will not be as pretty or sparkly if you do. The glitter tends to burn.

Yes, I try to time things so it's one of the things I do last, then I stand the LO or card up (against the wall, in the case of the LO) and leave overnight. That way I'm positive the Stickles will dry. I've had one too many incidents of Stickled fingertips when I've tested too early.
