What binder are you using for your DD?

I am going to do a DD but now I am considering using a binder and page protectors. What are you going to use? Are you using page protectors?

I was making my own book with acetate sheets, cardboard and cardstock. Now I'm reconsidering making one at all. I just feel I'd have a lot of void days.

An Ali Edwards project, in which you document the little stories in December -- first through the twenty-fifth.

As for a binder, I've used my Cinch; but I'm wishing I had gone with large rings, instead.

I'm using a 8.5 x 5.5 We R Memory Keepers album. I don't remember the model name or number, but if you Google the dimensions it will come up. It's kinda hard to find.

Oh. I have no little stories in December - no holiday parties at my home, only two Christmas gatherings at all (and the larger one won't be until the 31st), no holiday baking - and the decorating and shopping and wrapping are already done. I'll keep with using my Countdown to Christmas album I made earlier this fall to use up Christmasy leftovers.

This is what I have decided to do. I am going to do a 7x10. I bought Cinch 12x12 covers and I am going to trim them down and cover them with patterned paper. As for the inside pages I am not sure if I am going to leave them as is or adhere them to thin chipboard or each other.

I'm using an 8x8 MM binder ring album I got on clearance at Target ages ago for under $2:)

what do you put in a December Daily? Like a journal of the things you do each day in Dec.? Do you try to use a picture each day? Also is there a place to go that shows what abbreviations stand for?

I'm using a 6x6 album (except for the last few days...I could only find 8X8 page protectors) but, because it was post bound and the posts were so not working, I wound up having to kinda mock it up to be held together by big, fat binder rings instead.

I believe my album is roughly 6"x12"...2 ring binder by Making Memories. The page protectors fit a 6"x9" piece of paper, but I also added pages and different elements, envelopes that aren't in protectors

It basically a journal for the month of Dec. You can use pictures or just journal on the days you don't have pictures. I don't think it necessarily has to be in some kind of order. Just kind of document events, traditions, etc. At least that's how I'm working mine. This is my first year making a December Daily and I really liked how it turned out. I made my album in advance, so I am basically just adding in pictures and journaling as the month progresses. Good luck on your album:)
