Slice cards for $2!!!

Hopefully this hasn't been posted yet (sorry if it's a double), but I went to my local Michaels store this morning and all of the remaining Slice cards were clearanced to $2! I was in shock! I bought 7 more to add to my collection.

If your Michaels had any cards left, it's worth a call or trip to see if they've gone down again...

I went this morning as well, I cleaned out all but one at (which was 2) the one the other had already been cleaned out. I wish they had more!

I pcked up 8 new ones!!!!

What ones were left at yours? I might have you pick up any I don't have!!!!!!

$2 each, except the Noel, that one is newer and had the layering feature. It was $3.99

I'm in Hawaii. Why don't they have a Michaels here? There are so many I want - that I NEED and no Michaels. Is that a bummer or what?

I only saw the Noel I bought, but when I found it I stopped looking. lol they had a ton of cards though. Not sure where in Ohio you are but that was at the store in mayfield hts on som center.

Henri Jean, I may trade my Michael's and Ohio's indecisive weather for Hawaii and full price cards!

Thats 45 min from me.... I think my guy would miss me if I drove, all that way... without him knowing it! I might have to wait til saturday! I hope they still have some!

i would love to get some the baby one and the christmas one. the m at mine are all out i would of love it bummer make me sad

I want a Christmas one so bad I might have to try to find a deal online or something! I want the Christmas, spring, fall, and turkey one! I love all the holidays!

The weather here is gorgous and I'm looking at the ocean trying to spot whales again. We saw 2 jumping and spouting from our cabin yesterday.

Looking forward to next week when Joe's friend gts here - then we will get out and see the island from one to the other. Bill and I have done that many times but it will be special with our son and Angie. I always say I've been on the USS Arizona enough and scrapped the USS Utah all I'm going to scrap it - same with Punchbwl and the Kings royal rifle/drill team but I think I'm going to be doing them all again!

The weather has beenperfect but things that have been happening are not so perfect. Bill got bitten by a centipede in his sleep at 3AM a couple mornings back and he still has some swelling. The pain for the next 24 hours was excruiating and it still hurts. He still has some swelling too.

Then last night Joe (our son) had a grand mal seizure brought on by the fumes of the bug spray Bill had used to mark around the windows and doors to keep centipedes from coming in.

Now hopefully all that is over and it will turn into a vacation. Really though, I know it will be all work until Angie (Joe's friend) gets here Friday night.

My M's seems to be a month behind all your M's with this Slice elimination sale, but I'll stop by today anyway just to make sure I'm not missing this next stepdown in price

Oh please Henri ... I had such a fight at M's with the help today! They had nothing left on the walls, so I go over to the cage and I saw 3 in there ... Music & Dance, Wedding, the Halloween One. So I go up front to ask for them and they tell me they don't have anymore. Get the manager. She calls back and says there aren't any. So I walk back to the cage and with the cards IN HER HAND, she's saying there aren't any ... it was all I had to do not to grab them out of her hand, but somehow I remained in control, barely, and demanded those cards! Oh and the eye-rolling and mumbling I got while checking out ... GR!!

So anyway, my M's is most definitely out of cards.

In my michaels the wall was covered with every card currently available and I gathered one of each. When I got to the register and handed her about 25 cards she said, "We don't have these anymore - what we have is on the wall over there."

I said ok. Then.... is this not stupid, really stupid... she asked one of the the other ladies to go put back all the cards I took.

If they don't have them, and aren't going to get them, then why put the cards back on the wall. Unless they like putting them back all day!

Okay - I will pack those two for you ASAP when I get home. I promised someone else my other extra Basic Shapes 2 and now I'm out of extra cartridges.

I sure wish I had bought all they had when they were first $5.00. My Michaels had about 10 or 12 different and I just got one of each instead of lots of each.

i wish i got them to now i have no clue where to get them on a good price

i went there are they were all out. however i believe i have the 1s that i wanted.

That's so frustrating! A similar thing happened to me when I visited the Michaels a town over from us. I got SO excited because they had ONE box left for the Elite which was marked $19.99 so I took it up front and they said they were all sold out. Ok then WHY have the box back there to tease me? UGH!

Thank you SO much for this post! A few weeks ago, when they started the sale, I bought the Slice (for $19.99), accessories, and 20 cards for $5 each. I thought THAT was a great deal. I already opened up 4, but, after seeing your post, I decided to see if I could get a price adjustment on the other 16. The manager nicely apologized and said it was against policy. I'm REALLY a stickler about doing the right thing, so I convinced myself that even $5 was a good deal. Before I left, I decided to go by the clearance aisle (I usually find punches there-can't ever leave without stopping) and they had about 100 cards left at the $2 price.
I decided to just return ALL the ones I had with me and go back to the aisle and buy the one's they had for $2. There were a few that I brought with me that were out of stock-- when the cashier found out what I was doing, he gave me a refund on the $5 cards I couldn't replace. Sooooo... nice of him!
I don't know if this was too confusing--- all that matters is that I got a refund of over $35!!

That is so awesome. I have such good experiences with Michaels. Just I didn't get their policy of hanging the cards back on the isle when they had discontinued the item. Just seemed silly, and even more so, annoying to me.

I accidentally purchased an extra Baby cart and an extrs Jungle cart does anyone want to trade for a different cart I do not have?????? Please PM if you are interested in a trade.

I went to another M's yesterday and found the Happy Trails cart for 2 bucks. Not that I really wanted it but I picket it up, I like to use labels, but I didnt care for the other designs on the card.

Thanks for the heads up ladies! After seeing this thread, I had to see what my M's had. Went today and got the ONE cart they had left: "Farm Life". I'm not neces. a farm girl, but there were some good icons on there...fruits, animals etc.

I guess that will round out my brand new Slice collection (in combo with the $20 machine and $5 carts from earlier)...now, time to get crafting!

I wanted Paper Reviere but only J's had it a few months ago and it was still $49 bucks. Our M's did not have that one. I really want it but cant afford to pay $37-$49 for it so I guess my Slice Card shopping is over.

I hear you Mia I wish I could get some other cool carts for the same price but I am stuck with what I have but still willing to trade.
