Paper too awesome to use?

I just purchased some Halloween paper called Blackbird by Deena Rutter. I bought several different papers and chipboard from the line.

I am in love with this paper-like really in love with it! I bought it specifically to scrap Trick or Treating this year, and it is perfect.

The problem is that I love it so much that I am afraid to use it. Sounds crazy, I know. Does any one else ever have this issue?

Some paper is SUPER fabulous. My thought is you can do two things with it: 1) put it in a frame and put it on the wall. Which I have seen done and it was gorgeous. Or 2) use it and make it even more fabulous - cut it up, glue stuff on it, make it your own.

Omg, yes! It's so pretty to look at but I can't imagine covering it up with (gasp!) photos!

I have lots of papers I just don't want to use, they are so pretty. This is a very common problem. Once I start working with it though, I'm glad I used it.

My cure is to bo back and buy a few extra papers that were my favs to keep and use the rest and then I find it's not so hard to use the rest.

I'm still in love with the very glittery BoBunny snowfall collection and can't bring my self to use it yet cause it's so pretty!

I have one pack like this ... I cant remeber the name of it off hand. Its called like Life Art or something, and it looks like art piece's someone has done ... how can you cut or shape that?? LOL The rest I do as another said, buy doubles!! Sooner or later most have lost there 1st time owning them appeal especially when they are used

I've been decorating my sitting room and I intend to find a paper line that I love, with the right colour scheme, and to Mod Podge 4 or 6 coordinating sheets to some canvas boards and hang them in a group as decor.

I have a paper addition so I totally hear you. I recently bought papers from the Maja Design line and its too pretty too use. I bought extra's to use and I now have used one tiny bit (6x6) for a square card. I found it particularly difficult to cover it up....

I know a number of people have this problem ... mine is more the opposite ... I want to use new, pretty paper immediately, so the older paper just sits there neglected, collecting dust.

I purge frequently and donate unused items, but it still piles up.

I cringe sometimes when making that first cut. I buy a lot of 6x6 pads because they usually have 2 of each piece. If I ever buy single sheets (as opposed to packs) I always buy at least 2.

If I am in love with the pp at the store I'll usually buy 2-3 sheets to start with. That means I can use at least one sheet for projects, but I have also found that if it sits long enough in my collection, yes I'll still love it, but I'm more open to using it all. And when I do use it there is an excellent chance I'll love the page even more than usual because it has that paper I'm in love with on it.

I bought the entire line of K & Co's Flora and Fauna including the album. I didn't even realize there was a matching album until I had every other part of the line. I just happened to run across it at M's and had a 40% off coupon. I love it and I don't know for sure what I am going to do with it but for now I am a horder of Flora and Fauna! I am a little worried that I will not want to cover some of it up with photos. I'll have to get over it!

I have to admit i have a problem using some of my pretty paper and also my adorable embellishments.I dont want to use them in the albums that im making for some one else,really crazy because I have purchased more than one.I really need help letting go!!

I know I'll eventually use it. But i am being very careful in my planning so as to have as much of the paper showing as possible.

I know the problem. I have some gorgeous paper and I keep looking at them, telling myself I will use it for something really special. Most of them are in the bottom drawer, so I just see them every now and then. It is crazy and it would be so much better to put them to good use, but sometimes they are just too lovely!

I still have some old Daisy D's paper I still can't use! It's a pretty sorta green/blue with sore red flowers and a little off white mixed in and very worn looking and it just reminds me of my friends big comfy couch she used to have. lol

Daisy 'd has been out of business for quite some time now. I need to use that paper!

I had this issue, up until I decided to make a mini album. Now, I'm just oohing and aahing over the available space in my cabinet; you know, for MORE pretty paper.

That is a gorgeous line of papers. I love K & Co. But they don't make it any easier by making their papers double sided! So I feel like I'm wasting twice as much prettiness by not using it...or by using it!

I have had these issues as well.
I actually won't buy paper that has a pretty pattern ALL over it because I have an issue with covering it up (how's that for anal personality?)
I do buy paper that has gorgeous pattern, say in one corner.....if I really love a paper, I buy multiples so I don't feel bad using it.

I'm exactly the opposite - I feel like it's a serious waste to NOT use pretty paper. And if you cut it up into pieces and are able to use it on multiple projects, even better! Spread the gorgeousness as far as possible.

I used my aewsome Halloween paper today-and I couldn't be happier about the way it turned out. But I have to say that I was uber careful about what cuts I made so I could make it go further-I'm usually not so worried about that.
