Impatiently waiting for my order

Whenever I order from sb.com, I am so impatient that I check the tracking page every day--like that is going to bring it here faster! It's kind of like waiting for Christmas. Does anyone else do crazy stuff like that?

I've been doing a lot of "retail therapy" lately, and sb.com has been my vice!

Yes I do too!! I don't order too much online though!! my last order from the superstore was here in no time at all - it came before I thought it would!! Love happy mail!!

Yup. And when it finally says "Out for Delivery" I pace by the front door waiting for UPS.

I do this with everything, and refresh the tracking pages all the time (I'm typically at work when things are delivered at home).

LOL...I know how you feel! Mine isn't really scrappy supplies, but it is a new laptop...which I do use for digital scrapping. It should finally be delivered today and I can't wait for FedEx to get here! I'm sure they'll be running late...ha ha! I totally get the whole tracking thing too...I've probably tracked this stupid thing about 100 times in the past few days.

That's exactly how I am. I don't buy anything with out a tracking number.

Even selling on ebay i'm constantly checking tracking numbers to make sure to make sure everyone gets there stuff.

Out for delivery is just awsome!

the last couple of times i have placed an order with sb.com i use USPS. both got here in two days. Just sayin'

No more UPS for me.

What drove me crazy with tracking was when I ordered my laptop and had it sent to my son's house near Lake Tahoe. We were going by there on a trip and I had assumed it would be delivered in time so I could take it with me. It got sent...from China. Received...Alaska. Received...San Francisco! Yea! It just had to go through Sacramento, up the hill and be delivered to his house. Received...Chicago. Received...Sacramento. Received...Reno. Received...finally it got to his house, after by-passing it three times. The delivery person could have thrown it out the window as he zoomed to Chicago...or as he zoomed back by to Sacramento...or as he zoomed back to Reno. Sheesh...I would have been better off not knowing what it was doing! However, it at least made it to his house before we did ~Judy

I am terrible... I order so much stuff online that half the time I am totally surprised when I open the package because I have no idea what it might be. Especially when they take longer to arrive. We get about 10-15 packages per week. I buy a lot of stuff online that most people just get at walmart... like toilet paper. I have Amazon set up to automatically ship it to me.

But occasionally when i'm REEEEEEEALLY excited about something I will track it and hit refresh every 5 minutes.

I've been doing that for days with my new cutter :0

But since you reminded me, I just checked my order from here and it's out for delivery.

How many think it will take until Monday to get my new trimmer I ordered from SB.com from El Paso, TX to Kansas, Oklahoma? I'm hoping their estimated arrival time is wrong! I'm hoping it comes on Saturday!!!

Once I ordered something and it took about 2 weeks from order to delivery. I was having a get together on the weekend and it was sitting at my UPS facility. I tried to go to pick it up..but they wouldn't let me. So here was my stuff..sitting at the facility 2 miles from my house and I had to do without it..that's a bummer.

Just ordered some stuff last night and took advantage of free shipping! Now I'm impatiently waiting too... LOL.

On a side note, some of the above comments really crack me up - sb.com really needs to have a "LIKE" button

I ordered last night also and it hasn't even been shipped yet...and here I was hoping it would arrive today. What's taking them so long?

I'm a lot like Jarvae - I order so much on line that when it comes I look at the box and its like Chrsitmas surpsies. Right now I could not tell you if I'm expecting anything or not.

Guess I need to start ordering stuff again!

When I got home yesterday to pack for the hospital stay for Bill and me there were 3 boxes on the step. One had filler pages for my Provo-craft embossing folder holder and another was several sets of Quickcutz magnet sheets. Don't remember the 3rd. But I don't think I'm expecting anything else.

I'm super impatient when it comes to shipping so I usually keep the tracking page open on a browser and refresh it periodically throughout the day. I always get excited when it reaches a new terminal lol. When I ordered my cricut online I was stalking it like crazy on the Fedex website. When I saw it delivered I actually ran home from work just to put it inside because I was afraid one of the neighbors would take it lol

I'm fairly patient while it's in transit (although I check it every day to see if maybe the anticipated delivery date got bumped it, which it does sometimes). But "out for delivery" makes it hard to get through the day until it gets here! Like today

Yes I do.. and my order has to come all the way over to Central Queensland in Australia. Scrapbook.com is one of my favourite sites to shop from but I have to save up to make the order worth while.

You know just remembered I have an order that is to be delivered by tomorrow. I can't believe THAT it slipped my mind. I guess I have too much stuff.

I'm back to being a tracker-stalker. I placed an order here last night and it was shipped a few hours ago. I guess it's too early to be listening for the mailman :>)

By the time I finished putting Christmas stuff (yesterday's deal) in my cart, it came to almost $500. I took out most of my loose paper & a bunch of other stuff to at least get it in the 200s. It's those darn nesties that are really calling to me... I ordered one set yesterday, plus a little flourish which I think I already have, but my daughter will like it~

I was sucked in by the fiskars punches on sale yesterday! Placed an order last night about 10pm and recd email at about 930 it was ready for pickup! I of course stopped paying the bills when I recd the email, got dressed and drove there to pick it up! First time I have ordered since we moved to Mesa so it was pretty easy! Of course I came back finished paying bills and did checkbook and what do you know theres some spare change this check.....hmmmm what to do....what to do.....

I'm currently stalking some books I ordered on Amazon.. non scrappy related. I ordered them this morning though so they haven't even shipped yet D:

Deb, I can think of a couple choices for your spare change. You could go back and order some more goodies...or you could forward it to me and I'll go order some more goodies. Personally, I like option 2 the best ~Judy

Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Yea! It's USPS and our mailman comes early, so I won't have to wait all day.

Today I should have been working on all my paperwork that I need to do before I will allow myself scrappy time, but instead I was in a shopping mood. This has been an expensive week! But I got a good start on craft stuff for one of my daughter's Christmas gifts. A big purchase at J's online, then another bigger one at another online store, plus the big one from here a couple of days ago. OK...no more buying for me for a while~Judy
