What layout are you working on right now?

I have a layout scattered on my table right now...it's photos from a trip we made to COSI (science museum) while my DB and DSIL were visiting us after Christmas.

I always seem to ping-pong back and forth between a layout and the computer...I mess around with it till I hit a wall, them play on the puter, then head back to it. I guess it's time to head back now!

What are y'all working on?

Well I am doing the same thing, working on a layout and going to the computer!! ( gee great *minds* think a like! He!)

The layout I am working on is of my daughter Marissa and her friend Angelene. These pics were taken at a studio and I want to do something special with them, and unique. I need those creative juices to begin flowing!

Just finished a layout this week that has been in the making for a year. I was concerned that I wouldn't like it when finished, by still love it after all this time. I'm patiently waiting for more inspiration for the others that are in my stacks of pages in process.

Don't Get In Your Own Way!

Right now I am working on a 6x6 album for my dh's birthday. I was hoping to be able to finish it before his birthday (the 25th), but I am trying to make this a miniature "regular family" album and it is taking some time.

He told me the other day that when I first started scrapping he wasn't really interested in it, but now "your work is really a work of art! I love what you do now, sweetheart!" (I think I have a keeper!! )

So I am trying to make this something he will really like. It is for his office. I do two page spreads with the photo on one side and journaling on the other. I am also shrinking paper piecing patterns to fit, doing punch art, making titles, etc. So it is a big job. It actually takes almost as much time to do one 6x6 as a 12x12 for me.

I can't wait to give it to him. It will include family and ministry for him. I started with pages of his parents (we have lost both of them already). That will mean a lot to him.

I'm working on my first tea-folding layout. I found a great pic of my niece in purple and used the butterflies squares, purple and green plaid and a purple swirl paper from Paper Pizazz along with white, mint and light purple cardstock. Now I just need to title it but I don't know how old she was...yet.

Ugh, are you still stuck on the John Deere page? What are you having problems with now?

I am trying to come up with a great layout of my hubby's and my vacation to Germany. I have TONS of journaling to do (probably 1 full page typed) and am trying to figure out how I should - or could - get it all in there. I am also totally stumped on the layout. I want it to be something really special - and fun. HELP!

I am working on an ABC book for my father. I had to skip Christmas because this years were so confusing...he developed 2 to 3 years at the same time, so the date is the same. I went on the D and am currently working on Deer Farm pictures...from 3 different trips at that.

All is working out okay, although I've been at it all day and only finished 4 pages, and added some embellishments to another page I had thought I completed, but changed my mind and added to it.

I'm working on our trip to Florida from 2 yrs ago. It's really been fun looking at the photos. I had forgotten what a great time we had. It took me all day yesterday...staring at the picture, until I decided what to do with it. I felt like I was wasting my time, but in the end it turned out pretty good.

We just got back from Disneyland, so that's what I'm working on right now. I'm doing some memorabilia-only pages till I pick up the pictures tomorrow night. I'm going to attempt a family album with all the pictures and memorabilia and stuff... and one album for each kid that has all of their pictures with the different characters they met. Should be fun!
