Layered flowers

I have just started doing scrapbooking and I have been trying to figure out what punches to use to make the layered flowers. The flowers I am talking about look like they have 6-7 layers to them.

My cropadile punches through just about anything...that's what I use.

hmmm never thought about making flowers this way, but I bet it looks cool,,,,,PLUS you could use pp to do it with,,,,

I think I need me some flower punches,,,,

I would just purchase punches of different sizes and then layer them. They don't have to be the same shape. One very popular punch on this site is the Ek Success Retro flower punch - it's available in two sizes. You can change the way the flower look by using paper edges on the end of the petals! Good luck.

Holly you crack me up! You can also make those by just cutting out rough circle shapes. The circles, since the are going to be distressed anyway, don't need to start as perfect circles.

you know what? i would just but various sizes of misc flower punches and layer them!

this is a 3-d type flower you can make if you like it let me know and i will post the directions - dont want to take up too much space if it is not what you are looking for

Nope,,,but I bought Storybook for my Cricut today and I've spent all day making layered flowers with that,,,,

by cutting different sizes and using shadow for some and not for other layers and then layering them and using brads to hold them together, I got the same type look,,,,

I loved that LO, Paula,,,,like I said, I've been using my Cricut and the Storybook cart,,,which is great, but I want some punches too! sigh,,,,,,i so want it all!!!!!!!

try looking on you tube for some videos on how to make flowers - there are a few really good ones out there!!
