Remove photos from old albums

Hi -
I have a bunch of old photo albums that were 'self adhesive' (circa 1980's). The glue still works - I can't remove papers or photos without damaging them. Any tips or tricks to neutralize the glue so I can safely remove items? These albums were created by my grandmother and I want to preserve them exactly, just not in the old 'format.'

Dental floss - the waxy kind. Just slide it back and forth under the photo and it should come right off without ripping. Good luck. I had to do that a couple of months ago. It takes some time but the photos will come off. Hope that helps.

Hair dryer; heat the photo and gently peel the photo away. Once it is off the page lay it on some parchment paper.

I have not used it but have heard its praises is UnDu.
