Hi, Jazharamai will be hosting this thread.. I will post the rules in a bit, but here are the ppl in my group:

goals: In general, I'd like to just get constructive feedback to better my scrapbooking skills. In the future, I may wish to expand my goals to include getting on a design team and/or published. Honestly, though, those goals are only due to the positive effects it would have on my business.

goals: I would like to change my scrapping style a little and get advice from others on new techniques I may be missing. I would also like to get to a point of being able to submit for publishing and am looking in to scrapping for others.

I'm looking to try different styles and incorporate it into my album

I would really like to improve my skills list and the level of my scrapbooking. I always love to lern to do something new. I want to do some scrapping for others to earn a bit of money while I homeschool my son, I'd also LOVE to get on a design team.

goals: I desire to change up my style a bit (not be so structured), at some point get published in some more magazines and make product design teams.

I'd love to try new techniques and explore the possibilities of creating beautiful pages DESPITE of being on a budget. I also wish to get published in the future.

I'd like to learn new techniques and improve my SB skills so at least it may be at par with those published in SB mags

Goals: I would like to know how I could better my lo's with the hopes of someday being published. I am willing to try new things, but not sure how and where to incorporate them always

It always seems like my layouts are missing that little something extra. I'd like to receive honest criticism to improve and define my style. I'd eventually like to apply for design team positions and hope someday to be published.

*scrappydappydoo-I would like to grow as a scrapbooker and maybe one day be published. I am looking for advice because I tend to just throw whatever inspires me at the moment on a page, which may not end up being the best things to use. It has taken me 6 months to get past my patterned paper fears. Now I look forward to making interesting pages, and using new techniques.
*RebeccaB2- I've been scrapping for three years. In the last month, I've had two lo's picked up for publication (my first time!!!) and would like to continue the trend. I'd also like to get on some DT's and maybe enter some contests. I'd love to get feed back, try new things and generally be part of a like-minded group. Please let me know if there's room for me and/or what I need to do to jump onboard.
*Leisa T -
1. Tell family story through scrapbooking.
2. Improve/try new techniques.
3. Get PUBLISHED.
4. Get on design teams.
5. Keep creating more layouts without worrying about perfection.
*scraprabbit - So, my goal for the rest of 2005 is to mix up my scrapping (all my pages look the same to me!), try new things, and find "my style". Feel free to suggest things to me that are totally different from what I do/use if you think that might help me get that extra oomph. Also, I need to work on my journaling. I hate people reading what I write, but the stories are sometimes too good not to get down on paper. I am really easygoing, so you will not hurt my feelings with your critiques...so fire away! Also, if you think "you should just tear apart your whole page and rearrange it like _________" feel free! I probably won't tear the whole page apart, but I'll make a mental note about it for another page. I also don't get scrapping magazines, so I'm not really "up" on all the new trendy things.
*bobbjay
I'm Bobbi and have been scrapping since the age of Creative Memories...about eight years now. My goal is to make layouts I wouldn't be embarrassed to show people or submit for publication. I'd really like to submit a few before the year is over, but I always find little things that are wrong with them. So I want to eliminate those little things.
