I posted on the general scrapping board and someone said someone they knew tried it and said it was too hard to use. Maybe you can ask the LSS to demo it? Mine does that with new stuff all the time.
Hmmm... the tough-to-use reviews are too bad and suprising. EK's regular punches are my very favorite brand because they're so sturdy and generally do really well even on cardstock.
I talked to the lady at my LSS and she said they love it. They said it is easy to use, (much easier than QuicKutz) and comes with a ruler to make even punching or embossing. I am really tempted. I found a couple of really good prices mail order.
I was at the LSS tonight and they were saying that the embossing discs don't work correctly at all - and that they have a hard time getting the ruler to stay on correctly....I think I need to wait on this one and see if it gets better reviews...I appreciate everyone's input!
I went to my favorite LSS a couple days ago and asked about it. The owner (who I trust) said she thought it was very easy to use, including the circle templates, but that for embossing you would probably need to press twice in the same spot. I didn't get to try it because someone bought her demo unit!
Thanks Karen for the information. Sounds like it is going to be a learning curve with this, just like the QuicKutz. This sounds like my Christmas present. Keep the info coming ladies. Thanks. Sharon
I'm thinking that if enough people say its difficult to use, they will end up revamping it. I will wait til its been on the market a bit longer before making a final determination.
EK Success is a good company and they will probably end up improving it.
