Hey guys, I just bought a Cheetah last week, and It seems to me that it doesn't put enough adhesive on the pieces. Is this typical or do I just have a bad adhesive cartridge? I just got so frustrated last night I pulled out the glue stick, because I'd have to run over the cardstock three or four times and it still wouldn't be sticky enough

I haven't had that problem, and I've been through 3 cartridges. I'm thinking your cartridge might be bad.

Ditto. I have'nt had that problem. I LOVE my cheetah and couldn't live w/o it.

I don't have the cheetah, but I was just at some CKU-M classes where people used it and nobody seemed to have a challenge. I'd write them and hope to get an unfaulty one. (Its worth a shot)

I've thought about purchasing one - haven't yet - I would like to know how everyone likes or dislikes it and if it is worth the investment.

I have had some faulty cartidges (not only with the cheetah) so I finally wrote Xyron about my problems today. It wouldn't hurt just to let them know you are having problems.

I love my cheetah too. What size do you have? the 2 inches one or the 4 inches one?

I got some new cartridges, and this one seems to be working better. I have the 2 inch one. I used it last night and it was much better

I LOVE my cheetah. If you hold like a taco the adhesive goes on just fine. They are very good about replacing defective products-might want to see if they'll send you another adhesive cartridge.

I love my cheetah. I have the 2 inch one. My dh insisted I needed it. I tried to tell him I probably wouldn't use it and yet he was right. I love how easy it is to use and the wide strip of adhesive is very effective when using lots of patterned paper on cardstock.

I have the cheetah and I do like hte way it goes on and it sticks. But dollar for dollar it seems more expensive to me than the tombo or Xyron runners and 510.

I have the cheetah also and love it. I do think that the cartridges don't last very long but which ones do if you love to scrap. They are great for larger pieces of paper or 4X6 photos.
