How was your Easter?

Ours was very cold and wet. It's just not the same having the easter egg hunt inside the house. Too many kids and our house is too small. Aside from that we had a wonderful day. We also celebrated my son's 4th birthday so after doping the kids with candy, we gave them presents to terrorize the house with. 6 screaming banshees under age 5. Holidays are always amusing but loud!

Very warm! Like 90º warm! It was a very pretty day and the kids had a great time. And, MIL bought a Honey Baked Ham for dinner - and me, who doesn't care for ham all that much, LOVES Honey Baked Hams, so I was in heaven!
Now, I just have to think of something to take 4 more pictures of so that I can finish my roll of film from Easter!

Very COLD and WINDY!! But girls still wore matching dresses and looked adoreable
Dinner was great with turkey ham and all the trimmings. I am still full today!!

We had a very nice Easter. DH bought our 18 month-old daughter and I each a rose so of course I had to get pictures. (I wanted black & white pictures of dd with the rose so I can try color tinting the pictures.) We covered our rocking chair with a big white sheet, had it in front of a white wall and she was wearing only a white onesie. I went to hand her the rose and told her "be careful, it's a little pokie." Well, needless to say, after that she wouldn't touch the rose. She just kept saying "pokie, pokie." (Now I know what NOT to say to a young child!) Anyway, we got some pictures with her and the rose laying across the chair and standing up next to her. You can't even really tell that she is pushing herself as far in the other direction as possible. The pictures turned out very cute, though.

We had a great Easter -- went to Texas to visit our daughters. The weather was wonderful -- the trip down -- the time there -- and the trip back home. Only problem is now after being in 80 degrees I have to get used to this not too pleasant 50 we're experiencing back in Maryland. I want spring back!!

very hot here in Tucson...dh had to work so all we did was an egg hunt (at 6 am!) in the house. The 2yo had a ton of fun looking for the eggs. Got a lot of pictures and then changed to a new roll---tried to get a picture of the little brown bunnies that were sitting outside our window and couldn't get the camera to work--dh said battery was dead...darn thing...next day got two new batteries for the camera, changed the battery, still couldn't get the camera to work...turns out battery wasn't dead, film wasn't loaded correctly (DUH!)--so missed pictures I could've had and spent $11 for batteries I didn't need!

Lets just say I took 4 rolls of film to be developed today!
Boy am I going to be busy!
