QuicKutz Revolution Die Cut

Hello Fellow Scrappers,
Was wondering if anyones bought or tried the new Revolution cutting system. I just ordered the Revolution and the Grand Alphabet kit yesterday over the internet for a great price and I'm anxious to try it. Any info would be helpful.

The people at my lss were buying them like hot cakes! I would certainly hope that they work well, but I myself have never had one.

I don't have one of my own.....yet......but I've used a friend's and really liked it.

I am SO tempted to get this so was hoping I would see some feedback! I read a thread somewhere (not on this site) about problems with breakage (handle) but that's been all I have found about it.

But, then I came across the Cuttlebug and it states it will use any dies too, including those for the Revolution. Has anyone used the Cuttlebug and can give me feedback? I'm having a tough time chooosing!

I have both. Bought Revolution and love it.If you use quicutz dies in Cuttlebug and something happens to them,warranty will not be honored.My friends have used their quickcutz dies in their cuttlebugs with no problem.
My Revolution actually cuts my smaller dies better than the handheld diecutter!

Good to know and didn't think about that. I was leaning toward the Revolution since I just have QuicKutz dies anyway.

I have a question, though...I have seen cutting mats and embossing mats. I read that I need an embossing mat to use the Goosebumpz. Do you need more than one embossing mat? Do you need more than one cutting mat?

I found a great deal for the machine and an alpha set but not sure if it comes with the mats so might have to purchase them separately, so I wondered if I just need to buy one of each.

Revolution table-top die cutting tools come with the tool, awesome carrying case, embossing mat, and cutting mat. You can buy more later if you really use yours as a work horse and wear out a mat, but they do come with one of each. Got my Revolution in with the Grand Abigail font and I love it. What made me decide to buy the Revolution in the first place was a demonstration at my LSS. The girl showed me a project they were working on for the store and when using the QuicKutz hand tool they found it wasnt giving as clean a cut as the Revolution, besides the fact that you could cut up to 4 of the smaller dies all at once. I was sold, but I didnt buy my Revolution at the LSS, I came online and shopped around to find the Revolution with everything and the Grand Abigail font sold together as a kit for less than my LSS wanted for just the Abigail font alone which was $200. I cant wait to shop for more dies!

I bought the revolution and looooove it!!! I didn't get an alphabet yet. but I got around 10 dies that are so versatile and amazing! I also love it because I have bigger dies from other die cut machines and those work in the revolution also!!!!I'm looking to get an alphabet for christmas. I'm hoping they come up with something like roxy in the grand alphabets. it would be great for monograms.

I use QK dies in my Cuttlebug a lot and they work just great. I think the Revolution is a nice machine but I chose the Cuttlebug because it could take all the other dies.
