Kokuyo Dot-n-Roller....sigh

I'm not sure if anyone else has already posted on this topic, so forgive me if it's a repeat. But since Kokuyo has discontinued their "Dot-n-Roller" adhesive, what do you find to be the most comparable product? I'm so upset they took this away-it was my favorite! The repositionable just isn't the same, so I'm trying to find something that will hold a candle to the original. Thoughts?

I have been testing out the Tombow Diamond Dots. I bought both dispensers, but I think I prefer the 39 yd. They seem to be very similar, even the feel in my hand. They seem to hold really well so far.

I have been looking and cannot find any! I am so terribly disappointed. I have a lot left, but I know I will run out soon. I am so bummed! I don't know what to use after this...I think I may look into an atg gun.

I stopped using it long along since it was always defective. I do still like the red Kokoyu one though. I stick with the red one and my bigger Glue Glider Pro.

Elmers makes one that looks just like the Kokoyu, only it's in Elmer's packaging. It states that it is acid free. I've bought them for years from my local drugstore. However, I haven't purchased any tape runners since after buying my ATG.

I have been using the Herma brand Dotto adhesive for years now. I just stumbled upon recently the Dot n Roller and absolutely loved it, only to find out it is being discontinued. I do still very much like my Herma Dotto adhesive though. I think they are pretty comparable.

I just finished off the last of my Kokuyo and am now using Herma, which works fine. However, I really miss the little cover guard on the Kokuyo that I could flip over the exposed adhesive when the roller was not in use. I swear, no matter what the product (scrapbooking or otherwise), when a manufacturer finds out I like a product it is discontinued. DH and I joke that whenever we find something we REALLY like we should buy a lifetime supply because it will soon be gone.

Oh so true! Thank you, everyone fora l your help and advice! Now that they've discontinued the tape-n-roller plus also I'm not sure what to do!
