Hello Kitty Cricut Cartridge

I haven't been shopping for new cricut cartridges in awhile but I saw a youtube video for a card using the Hello Kitty Cartridge so I thought I'd go looking to purchase the cartridge to make the card. I was shocked to see the prices on ebay at over $80 all the way up to $200. Last time I checked retailers had it in stock. I guess PC has retired the cartridge. Is this soley what has driven the price up? Does anyone know?

Yep, it is a retired cartridge...more demand, less supply...
