Spectrum Noir or Chameleon Markers

Hey folks,

I'm looking for a replacement brand of marker for my Stampin' Up Blendabilities since they are now discontinued and the ones I had were defective (all dried out after one use).

I don't color a lot, so whatever markers I buy I want them to be able to sit for months between uses. I'm not a big copics fan, not because I don't think they're great, but there are soooooooo many colors and they're pricey for the amount of time I would use them. I just want a simple color range that blends well to periodically color some flower stamps.

I'm leaning toward spectrum noir or chameleon. Any recommendations? Votes for/against? Help me decide

I have used spectrum noir basics color set (5 colors and a blender). I love them very much because they blend nicely, but they do run out of ink very quickly and I had to get the re-inkers which I use a lot of. The nibs wore out pretty quickly too.

I've had a set of Stampin Up markers for at least ten years. Didn't use them for awhile, but got them out in Novemeber and almost all of them still color beautifully. There is a great You Tube video explaining differences among markers. That might be helpful to you. https://youtu.be/aXFkRD60Iis not sure if the link will work. Very good. The Chameleon markers are not as easy as the Spectrum Noir sets. I like Spectrum Noir.
