How many pictures do you take? another survey because I'm bored!

I'm just curious how many pictures everyone takes on average. We obviously take a lot because we're always scrapping. And just to make things interesting how do you develop them?
I usually take about 4 rolls of 24 pictures a month. That doesn't include special occasions when I tend to take more pictures.

I send my picture to either York Photo Labs or to Photoworks.com to be developed, mostly because when I started this 4 years ago they were the only place where I could get the pictures on disk. I stay with them because someone always send me a coupon and because the pictures over the internet are cheaper than at local stores. I usually get doubles and the pictures on CD. The doubles go to family or friends who are in the pictures.

I take 100's of pictures. I have a digital camera so I take tons trying to get the perfect picture. I also let my nephew and nieces use the camera when they play b/c they get such cute pictures that I can never seem to get of them!

I frequently take at least 2-3 rolls a month unless its a special occassion then I can go thru a roll or two. I usually take my pics into Walmart.

I usually take 3-4 rolls a month. I use the Kodak disk so it's expensive but I'll have the CD forever! And can put the negatives in a fireproof safe.

I probably average 4 or 5 rolls a month and get then developed at Sam's Club One Hour. I do not like to take them anywhere where they may get lost in transporting.

LOL! How about too many?! No really I do tend to take a lot and now that I am in school for photography I feel like I have a camera attached to me. The good thing is when I take B&W I can develop them myself at school!

I guess I usually take 1 - 2 rolls per month unless there is a special event. Then I take more.

I don't take that many anymore...I used to do tons. But, now that I found Photoworks.com, I love that I don't have to develop all my digital camera pictures!!!! Especially the ones I hate!

I average 2-3 rolls/month. If we go somewhere fun--like Sea World or Disneyland--I'll take an entire roll.

My DH has started bringing his camera along, too--he averages about 1 roll every other month. He usually gets some great candid shots of me, so I'm glad he's started toting his own camera.

I probably average 3 - 4 rolls of 25 per month. I have 3 cameras going most of the time, so it's really hard to tell how much film I really use.

Cool Stacy, about the dh toting his own camera. I'm one of those elusive, rarely photographed moms.

I take 5-6 rolls of 24 a month, more for special events. I just take them to Walmart one hour - best price around BUT I also have had an excellent experience with them. Recently I tried Walgreen's (merely for convenience - one day I just *HAD* to have the pics *NOW*) and was eh, not so thrilled.

I have this same problem. I now hand the camera to my husband and ask him to take pictures of me with my boys. I also started asking my sister to take pictures for birthday parties & special family events with my camera. This really helps.

I'm almost embarrassed to say, I probably average 4-6 rolls per month, some months a lot more...since we have no kids, my album is full of dog pictures, house & flower pictures, and I try to fully document any special events. This also helps my dad, who is disabled, and out-of-town family keep up with our "doings", and reminds us that we have a life outside of work...

I used to use Rite-Aid (they're convenient), but after they lost a roll I won't go back. The last set I had done at Walgreen's and I was satisfied (at least they found them!).

Oh, PS. I also ask my husband to take pictures of me! Now I'm documented, too!

I take 1-2 a month depending on what is going on. More if there is a special occasion.

I just took 22 rolls to Walmart today. Fifteen of them were from a Nascar race. I think I probably average around 5 or 6. I take way too many pictures, but I can't seem to stop.

Lee Anne I can relate to you! I take way to many pictures. This weekend I took 12 rolls of film to be developed. One of my very best friends got married recently and I got carried away. As a wedding present I am going to give her a scrapbook of her wedding.

With 3 kids and 5 grandchildren I am always taking pictures. 6 rolls of color, about 2 or 3 of B&W and 1 to 2 disposables. And I still get caught with without film. I take my colored to Wal-Mart, my B&W to a professional shop.

It really widely varies for me, and depends on what we're doing. I think I've taken two rolls so far this year! But in a few weeks we'll be taking sometrips, so I'm sure I'll have several rolls from that. If I had to average it out over a year, I'd say 1-2 rolls per month. More often one roll than two, though!

I take my film to the local camera shop and have them do one-hour processing. They do a great job, and that way I know the film stays right there--no getting lost in shipping from place to place. I also like the instant gratification. It is more expensive, and if I took a great many pictures, I'd probably have togo somewhere cheaper.

I used to always get doubles to share, but I got tired of funding photos for the whole family, so now I just get singles!
