On another note, I've heard (haven't tried it yet) that if you use a blender pen with your chalk (lightly dip the pen tip into the chalk and then use it like a paint brush) you get a watercolor look on whatever you were chalking.

TO set them...DON'T USE HAIRSPRAY! - I have heard people at lss tell their customers this. Why would you want that on your pictures? GEEZ...just turn it over and on top of another piece of paper rub a wooden spoon over it -this is called burnishing. It should set it just fine!
