Hi all, sorry I have been so busy lately,

Yes, as my pal already stated, she did send me two packages, one for each month so far, (great stuff too). I also have sent my Jan package and small things, my feb package is on the way to my pal.

Things have been crazy for me here, but hopefully things are back to normal now.

Ok so I was having one of those days where everything is just BLAH!! and no one is listening and the kids are everywhere and I go to check the mail. Guess what I got a package from my awesome pal. It brightened my day . I can't wait o put everyone to sleep so I can play with all my new stuff. There are so many great things in my package. I just recently started stamping and there were foam stamps and block and inks and lots of metal embelishments. Thank you so much whoever you are.....I absolutely love everything.

MelissaH & My Secret Pal - I went to my first scrapbook expo over the weekend. I didn't want to overdue it so I signed up for one class and then visited the exhibit hall. The class was Personalized Embellishments from Little Black Dress Designs - it was really fun. By signing up for the class I got to enter the exhibit hall an hour earlier than the general public (a real plus believe me!). Picked up some great stuff for your Feb pkg

I've figured out the plan for the next expo - take Friday off of work do the exhibit hall and on saturday take classes.

This one runs through the end of March. There wil probably be sign ups for another one (sometime in March) to start in April and run for three months. Keep ypir eyes open for it.

Sorry it has been a few days since you've heard from me. I been organizing some storage space and taking care of getting our taxes done. Hopefully the weather is improving for you. It's cold but clear here, I really want to take my son for a walk, but I'll just have to wait till it warms up a little.

it was great to hear you were good. are you doing any other swaps? there is some really nice ones on the board. Well I am glad to hear you haven;t been strickened with that nasty cold stuff that is out there. I am on my second round of it. Yuck.. But this round isn't as bad as the last round. well hmmmmmmm......
We did are taxes the first part of Feb. and they are back and gone too. lol

the snow was fun over a foot in a day and more yesterday that is what a Michigan winter is all about. I like the snow better than the bitter tempts.
still spring can get here soon would be nice then the kids can play outside more. and my kids love the dirt and bugs. My middle son catches bees and wasps in his bug catcher , I yell at him everytime but i think it is a challange to see if he can do it without getting stung!!! Kids I tell you!!!

Hi Pal Well it's Wed. and I finally got to get on today.....no visitors, no babysitting.
Its supose to sleet and snow tonite....not looking forward to it. I'm SO ready for spring!

As for march...hummm.....

......I'm just not sure.
I just got into stamping and am having fun with it. ( I just love my mm magnitic stamp set!!!!! I use it all the time!) Oh... a refill for the Versamark(watermark) pad?? A blender pen ( dove blender and refills) for watercolor pencils and a new blade for my cutterpede, mine is getting dull. That's all I can think of that I need. I hope that will help in your selection. I'm really glad I have such a cool pal...I still can't get over my MM stamper set!!!!

I GOT MY PACKAGE!!!!!

And oh my do I have the best pal!!!!!! I think I hit the motherload!!! I have been waiting patiently for it and also my pics that I had ordered. So yesterday afternoon I kept putting off checking the mail just hoping something good was in thier!! And I finally checked it when the lil ones got up from thier naps and....bills....ads....nothing for me

. so I say okay tomorrow then. So I am wondering around my house only to look outside and thier is the mail truck again, so I said huh...and up to my house he walks with 2 packages! My pictures in one package and new scrap stuff in a huge box!!

And I have to brag about everything that I got!!!!
I received a 12x12 craft keeper with 87 (yes I counted!!)

sheets of pattern paper!!!
Different fibers and lace
Stamps- hearts and such
A 7 pocket photo keeper (which is going to really come in handy)
TONS of Embellishments!! I mean TONS! 3-ds, baby stuff, hearts and flowers
Purple stuff for my lollipop page, I have been looking for something that will work and the stamped "lollipops" will DEFINTELY work!!!! I am so excited- I also got purple brads and tags to go with it!
Fall leaves brads( too cute!)
3-stickers, baby boy border stickers
Tags, mini squares
3-D alphas- purple (LOVE!! My dh kept laughing because I acutally squealed when I seen these!!)
And the bestest thing that my pal did for me was my die cuts that I received!! I received punched out letters that spelled: family, love and all 3 of my kids names!!! How cute is that!!!

I am so sorrt i haven't been in contact for a bit but we have been so busy with basketball and soccer is getting ready to start. It has been so beautiful here for the last 5 days except today it is raining and chilly. We have been taking advantage of the nice weather and taking the kids out to the park and grilling out. So how was the Expo? I can't wait til June we will be in Florida for a few weeks visiting friends and family and I think i am going to try to make the one in Jacksonvillie. How have the wedding pictures been coming along? I have not scrapped in a couple of days. I am still in my creative block. I did however get a great package from my pal so hopefully I will be able to get out of my funk.

hey there scrap pal - glad the weather's been so nice where you are. It's been raining for days here - finally a let up in the rain today. The weather man predicts the next storm will hit on Monday. Well geez!!! We're receiving so much rain - this is very rare for this part of California. We're having homes fall off of hillsides and lots of mudslides, rivers/dams overflowing - it's total chaos. Thankfully we do not live on a hillside and nowhere near any rivers.

did ya take any pics of all the outdoor fun you've been having over the last week? That should help that block

That is too funny that you're in insurance. I didn't do life insurance but was in the P & C area - mostly commercial lines... I have my insurance license still and I keep it up just in case i ever change back to working in insurance (you never know where life will take you - good to always have a plan B). Have you ever heard of the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW)? Check out their website: http://www.naiw.org - they have local chapters everywhere. I've made so many friends all over the US with NAIW - love it.

Which designation are you working towards? I am one class away from my AIS designation. One of these days I'll get back up and finish it up.

You're going to do great on your exam I'm sure - you'll ACE it!!

Yeah, pal! You were right! I got my package today!

I absolutely love it!! I will mark some of those things off my list right after this. Thanks for the fibers...I need to build up my fiber inventory. I especially liked all the woven labels and the boys' quote stack. They will come in handy for my brother's book. And I just loved the wedding ribbons. I almost cried when I saw them!

I'm fixing to start working on the album for the 2yr old that her dad killed her mom and himself... Its gonna have pictures of her and her mom together, pics of her and her dad.. and then just some baby pictures of her, so she will have something... So any colors would be great...

I'm doing good. I'll be studying for an insurance test tonight and tomorrow. Oh and I have a dinner date tomorrow. Nothing big just dinner or something while my ex has the kids. This guy is sweet but I don't see it going much further than a friendship, we'll see.

I'm taking a test about the regulations of annuities. It is one of the tests I need to earn another insurance designation. Wow, that's cool. What did you do in insurance? I work in Life insurance.

Everything you have sent has been wonderful so whatever you decide will be great I am sure. I did recentlt just get a sizzix machine though and only have one die cut if that help any. Right now I am currently working on some zoo pictures actaully lots of zoo pictures. I have not yet tried Bazzill so there are a few options to help you with I hope.

Oh and I know that I asked luvscrapin if she was my pal and she wouldn't tell and so I thought it was someone else but I really do still think that it is lovescrapin so is it you?????
