911 Patriotic Swap

I want to have groups of 10. This will be the first one and they will be due to me by June 15 (postmarked by June 7). I want to get them out to you by July for your July Pictures.
Remember, you have to make whatever you make for 11 people.
You will get back 10 from the other nine people.
I just started on my own 911 album to represent and honor the 911 victims and to act as a history book for my girls. If you would like, this can be for that as well.
Please sign your creations in pencil on the back if possible. You will be appreciated for your talents!

Can the paper piecing be an embosed embellishment that is cut out and put back together?

By the way - I would like to ask a kind of clarifying question - is this goin gto be an Independence day Swap? (which is what I was thinking at first) or a 9/11 swap? That would make a big difference in what I would make for it. Lane? Which am I doing?

Sorry Cheri. I assure you that my keyboard does not have any char marks on it. I just spend way too much time on the puter. I thought it was going to be a 4th of july swap too. I like the idea of a patriotic swap, because then you can use what you get for 9-11 or 4th of july. I am doing a bear holding a flag. Not too great for a 9-11 album, I don't think, but very cute for independence day.

P.S. Slim fast is GREAT if you blend in a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

sara - I will have to try it with ice cream! Sounds yummy! haha And Vanilla has beans in it - and beans are veggies. So I'm good, right? I think your bear sounds adorable. I will try to stick with a strictly patriotic theme, then. Not necessarily 9/11. Isn't it wierd how we use that term - 9/11 - like slang now? Gives me chills. Ok girls, you are really confusing me. Should we make 3 swaps, one for 911, one for patriotic, and one for 4th of july? Geeeezzzz. Lets go with Patriotic/4th of July and then if there is interest we can make a 911 strictly? What are your opinions on this? 911 wouldnt exactly be celebratory so lets go with the earlier. K. Lane, I think just plain PATRIOTIC would be just fine and then all your bases would be covered. Don't overwork yourself on account of US!

Oh, and Cheri, don't forget, Ice cream is chock full of Calcium, good for you too.
