its either a design or letter that u place over whatever you want to apply it to and u rub it with a popscile stick and it appears on whatever u are rubbing it onto. For ex. i have a rub-on letter that i want to apply to my cardstock as a title, i simply place the rub-on sticker over top the cardstock and rub with a popsicle stick or they have a tool u can by to use to do this also. and u rub untill u can tell its rubed onto the cardstock. its that easy!
Rita, I love rubons. Let me explain. They are sort of like stickers, only they're not sticky on the back. You use a popsicle stick or something like it to rub the rubon from the clear sheet to the spot on your page. You can find alphabets or titles or pictures. I ABSOLUTELY love DCWV and MM alphabets. SB.com has them and I have some other websites you might be interested. pm if you'd like them.
I LOVE RUBONS. Don't be afraid to use them! It's perfect for me because I can place the title exactly on the page where I would like it to be and they have white letters. SO CUTE! Enjoy. Hope this answers your questions.
I love rub-ons, too! I just discovered them a few weeks ago and I'm addicted to them. I have a few of the MM alpha sets, and a bunch of the Simply Stated rub-on words. They are carrying them at Target and even Office Depot now!
One word...Addictive! I see that Making Memories just came out with new fonts and new colors at CHA this year. Oh...that is SOOOOOOOO not good for me to know.
