Favorite Paper?

Just wondering... I am going through my file cabinet and I literally have about 2 feet of paper if it were stacked! I will never use it all and have decided I don't even know why I bought a lot of it - Michael's papers, Slab and other types of bulk paper (unless it's solid CS) I just don't use. I'm not including Basic Grey and Chatterbox and companies like those - I mean the paper packs with like 200 sheets of paper in the same pattern with different colors. Am I the ONLY one who does this? What a waste! I don't have time to read a lot of magazines, so I am just wondering what do you think is the hottest paper line?

i dont really have a fav i buy what i like when i see it i dont reall ygo looking for a certin brand

I love all papers in general but some that keep coming up are Club Scrap, Basic Grey , The Stacks & Karen Foster .

I don't know if I have a favorite, there are a lot of really great brands. I love almost everything from Basic Grey , KI Memories , and Chatterbox , but I also love lots of other stuff.

I keep my "brands" of paper separate from my other stuff and use the cheaper stuff for mats or small things; sometimes I turn it over and use the back as the background of my layout.

I love Basic Grey - but I recently fell in love with SU paper. I had never tried it before and wow - it is really nice. They are coming out with new colors and patterns in the spring mini - it is a double sided paper that is so beautiful. I saw it at leadership - and now I can't wait to have it!

I don't have a particular favorite but I LOVE Basic Grey , Karen Foster , Provocraft, SEI and many others. I'll buy paper according to if I like it when I see it or according to need of a particular project. So I have a little bit of everything.

I also have a couple of those packs with 200 pieces and I will never use them all. It seemed like a great idea when I bought them.

Bazzil is my favorite right now

I don't really have a favorite pp, but as far as cardstock, SU! is my favorite "non-textured" cs, and Bazzill is my favorite textured cs.

I love Center City Designs!! And Junkitz too!

I love Basic Grey 's PP and I am so in love with Bazzill textured card stock!

Basic Grey is a great favorite of mine!! love the SEI and Chatterbox . I too keep all my good "brands" seperate from the big stacks I buy and just some ordinary pp when its on sale. That way I know what I am using and I also have younger girls scrappign with me (11 and 12) who dont understand the concept of "good" pp yet!!

I don't really have a fave. I like all papers. However, I tend to go for Basic Grey , KI Memories or anything bright like Junkitz , Urban Lily etc. Love fun, fun colors.

I don't have huge 'favorites' but I do seem to lean towards, Chatterbox , SEI , Junkitz and KI Memories . I also love provocraft for making cards!

My other would have to be Daisy D's and Bazzill .

No fav one here either..so I chose other.
I seldom know what type/brand of paper I use as I just buy what I like and that will work in my LO.
If it has the right colour/pattern/texture etc, that's all that matters to me

I love Basic Grey , Junkitz and Karen Foster patterned paper ! I also love Chatterbox , but didn't put at my top 3. Bazzill , undoubtedly is on top of my list when it comes to cardstock!

I absolutely love Basic Grey and Bazzill Cardstock. As matter of fact, this weekend at a crop, I vowed to only use Bazzill cardstock in my scrapbooks.

I have tons of papers that I don't use (also from Michael's, AC Moore, etc.) I was thinking about putting them on Ebay????

Love Chatterbox b/c it all coordinates and they have tons of great idea/inspiration books out that I can scraplift!!!

I adore Basic Grey ! I should be considered a "collector" because I am "afraid" to use any of it (just like I mentioned in a previous post). I just use it to look pretty in my cabinets. It makes me feel good just looking at them even if it's not in my album...yet.

Oh my goodness! You should use your Basic Grey in layouts. They come out absolutely beautiful! I went to a crop this weekend and my scrappin' buddy used it. Her layouts were her best work. She used Fusion and Phresh and Phunky !! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!

My favorite is Scrapworks . I also like Arctic Frog and SEI - stuff with a graphic feel.

It takes some time to realize what kind of paper fits your style, kwim? I have a pile i won't be using also!

I chose BG, Scenic Route and Other. Other being 3 Bugs in a Rug. Has anyone seen these papers? I just discovered them the other day and ordered 2 of every sheet! They're fun, bright and have great designs. All 3 of my choices do but I'm really into 3 Bugs right now.

I like too many... i have an unnatural attraction to patterned paper s. Some of my faves are Gin-X, Arctic Frog, Fancy Pants, KI Memories , and Urban Lily

I love BG, but also love Wild Asparagus and kaleidoscope, love some Rusty Pickle "i will not sass" and of course Bazzill , close call with textured dcwv cs. jmo

I'm going to echo Tracy here, but I love SEI , KI Memories and Basic Grey too! I am also a fan of Doodlebug . I never used to be into patterned paper s, but when I do buy them I tend to buy those brands so that I can find coordinating embellishments!

I really don't have one favorite or another, but I really don't use any of the papers mentioned. I use Leaving Prints, Topline Creations, Picture Perfect, and CTMH.

you know what we should do? we should gather up all the paper that we wont use and when we run into someone new to scrapbooking, send it to them. that way they arent out a bunch of money for buying a bunch of paper stacks... and we get more organized. win win situation

I've done that - but my paper was from the LSS so it was good quality brand name paper. I barely made .10 a sheet. Now I wish I'd kept it. It can always be used for cards or whatever.

If you really want to get rid of it, look for after school programs or Girl Scout troops that might want it for projects. Donating makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.

I like the Basic Grey but im also the kind of person who buys what looks pretty not so much the name brand. But Basic Grey tends to have alot of papers my style.

It seems I'm always picking up Daisy D's.

I LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Basic Grey and after that its Bazzill and my 3rd choice would be Junkitz .

If you have lots of paper you won't use, check into donating it to a school.

Our junior high offers scrapbooking as a 7th grade elective, and many of our students can't afford to buy supplies. They are thankful for anything that's donated to them and don't care that everything is the same pattern but a different color.
