I'm HOME!!

I just got home. I am quite sore and about to go hit the recliner and sleep a bit.

I had my gall bladder taken out and my hernia repaired. That turned out to be much more serious than expected. The surgeon said it was very large and the intestines had come out of the peritoneal (sp?) sac and had adhered to the skin. He had to cut them out and put them back. He said he did "major reconstructive surgery" to my stomach. LOL On the bright side, my stomach is MUCH smaller! LOL )

I am doing VERY well. God has been so gracious through this! He has been amazing!! I never dreamed I would do this well this soon!! I have a long road of recovery ahead, but I am FINE and praising my God! The church already has a “food train” going. They are taking care of our meals for at least the next three weeks.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I just read the thread where you were all so concerned. I am in tears. You have no idea what that means to me. Thank you seems so inadequate. But I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Please continue to pray!

Welcome Back Susan! I am so glad to hear you are okay! Just a few weeks ago I was in the hospital too, my Gallbladder had to be removed. The pain was terrible! I got to the hospital just in time. My Gallbladder was infected and had I waited any longer, it could have been pretty bad. You take it easy OKAY! You are in my prayers.

I'm happy that you are home. God seems to have you on a speedy path to recovery. Take it easy and soak up the extra attention you will be getting from loved ones. All the times you had to take out the garbage when everybody else forgot- and stuff like that--it's time for pay back everybody. Don't let Susan do a thing- she needs to take it easy. Treat her like a queen.

Thank Goodness....I am so glad to hear that you are home....please take care of yourself and get well soon...of course we all get better faster when we are back with our loved ones and in the comfort of our own home!
