Big shot express question

I do layouts more than cards would this be good to have? Seems like it's more for card but can it be used in layout also?

Hi! It can be used to cut shapes for LO's. It won't cut a full sheet of 12x12. For that you need the bigshot pro (it's about $300 and IMO not worth the price!) I've done LO's with my big shot (not express) by cutting out components and adding them to my page. I use LOTS and LOTS of die cuts- letters, shapes, frames, whatever. I also use my big shot with the cuttlebug dies and embossing folders. You can use it with spellbinders dies too. I'm pretty sure it can take any die out there. Does that answer your question at all?

It is a great machine to use with all die cuts- very universal. It isn't great for a variety as in different sizes.

I love my Big Shot, I was having some trouble with another machine so switched and love it. I can cut Dies Direct, QuicKutz and SpellBinders dies. It embosses the grunge and embossing plates from Dies Direct beautifully with their rubber embossing pad.

I just ordered this machine (at a great price!) and can't wait to get it. I own (and love) the Cricut but wanted to be able to emboss as well. The new Cuttlebug combo dies that emboss and cut look very cute and from what I've read, can be used in the Big Shot.

yes, cuttlebug dies can be used in the bigkick/bigshot

Oh I so love this. I use it mainly for sbing because I have tons of dies. I love the large platform that you can purchase 14" will allow for alot of dies at one time.

I have a cricut expression, cuttlebug and loads of scraping supplies. I am interested in finding a way to cut out more dies and faster. Or if anyone knows any tips on the expression toward this or anything, I want to get into more cardmaking or any thing creative.I am definately an ameture who wants to become sellable/give aways! Thank you !
