HeLp!! Sizzix big shot pro only cutting on one side.

Please help me!!
I'm running my dies through and the cut in only coming out on one side, the side furthest from the handle is not cutting. In case you still don't understand: it's as if there isn't enough pressure on one side. I don't know why it's happening but I'll add that my http://www.sizzix.com/product/656657/sizzix-big-shot-pro-accessory-cutting-pads-extended-1-pair are bent as well. I saw a youtube video about putting them in the oven, wrapped in aluminum foil, at 325 for 30min with a weight on top will remove the dents but these are bigger than a cookie sheet so i can't do that. I'll also add that the shinny, smooth metal bar that rests under the tray (remove the tray to see it) has a slight pull on the side that it not cutting and no pull at all on the side near the handle. Would someone who owns a Big shot pro, or any manual Sizzix machine,be so kind to check to see if this pull-no-pull thing is the same on your machine?

i've only probably cut 50 times.
never dropped it

I highly recommend contacting Sizzix directly.

The cutting pads do warp, the best treatment for that is to alternate which way you feed them in (turning them over each time).

I agree with Stick that contacting Sizzix is your best course of action, but in the short term, would it help to add shims on the side where it's not cutting?

I understand what you mean. I would contact Sizzix. When I first got mine, it had so much pressure it bent a die. (In addition to bending plates) I contacted Sizzix who told me to return it to the store. The new one still bends/archs my cutting plates, but not the dies.

Agreed on all. My experience was with a Sizzix embossing purse (I have not had any problems with my BigShot) and the people at Sizzix were awesome. Could not ask for better service and friendlier people.

Has anyone experienced the cutting into the plastic 'sandwiches' the die and the paper. My design cuts into my plastic plates????

Yes Ginger, the dies will cut into your plates. They're supposed to. The B plates will warp too. You can help this by turning the plate upside down every few cuts s that it warps evenly, but eventually you will have to replace them when they get cut up and bent.
