Rubber Stamp RAK

I am liquidating many of my rubber stamps. I do not feel like making a list of what I have or taking pictures, but I want to get rid of them.

So here's what I would like to do (if this is OK with SB.com -- my apologies if I'm doing anything not legal - please let me know).

PM me to let me know if thee is a certain "category" of stamp that interests you -- (i.e, hearts, flowers, animals, etc.)

If have something that you might like, I'll have you send me a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (padded) with enough postage to get the stamp(s) back to you.

And I will then mail you the stamps you want as a RAK.

I want to get rid of these and I would get pleasure from giving them to others.

Yea! I'm flooded with emails. Be patient while I get to all of them. I"m starting a spreadsheet so I know what I've promised to which people.

I'll set aside what each person wants and measure the size so you know what size envelope to send and maybe how much postage to put on.

Hi Everyone! Thank you for all the emails! I have tons of them pending. Just to update you all -- I have a spreadsheet going and am putting things in baggies for each person based on when they replied.

I have lots and lots of stamps, so I hope I can get something for everyone.

And, thanks again to everyone who has offered trades. I didn't anticipate that and will look forward to all the "new stuff" that will be coming in the mail -- you are all so generous and I appreciate the offers for trades.

I am working today and tomorrow quite heavily but will be working on this in the evenings and over the weekend. I will get back to everyone..promise!

Hi everyone --- just an update! I'm still here, still working on this RAK. I have finished my spreasheet from all the emails! Whew. I don't mean to sound good-two-shoes, but I'm really excited about how many people responded and how many people I can RAK with this! I guess I'm a people pleaser!

Anyway -- I probably have enough people to match up with all my stamps now. I have printed my spreadsheet and am making up a bag with each person's screen name.

I was also thinking I would have each of you send stamps in a baggie with your return envelope and that way I can return any postage that I don't need. Rather than guessing what each pack will cost to post, I'll have each of you send a set amount and then I'll send back any extra.

For those of you in canada -- if you can just send $$, that would be good -- we are close enough to Canada here in SE Michigan that I keep Canadian Cash on hand.

In any case, I will be in touch with each and every one of you in the near future with my postal address and a description of the stamps that I pick out for you. I have to work about five hours tomorrow, but then I plan on working on this the rest of Sunday and Monday.

Here's an update!!!

I have sorted all the stamps for everyone who responded. I have the following left:

Shadow stamps (light backgrounds) -- 5 available
a couple birthday
a large intricate heart
a "doodled" tag shape
two unmounted tag shapes with florals
a "get well soon" sentiment
A cube with four sentiments

First people to email me can have any of the above as part of this RAK.

For those who have already emailed me, I have emailed you info for sending my your return envelope and stamps.

ALSO - PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR SCREEN NAME WITH YOUR RETURN ENVELOPE AND STAMPS -- I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS IN EACH INDIVIDUAL EMAIL.

And, finally, I sincerely hope everyone likes what they get. I know design tastes may differ or the RAK may not be exactly what each person anticipates. I did the very best I could for each person and remember - it's a RAK, so I hope no one complains! :-)

Question for you.
Since we are 2 people and are getting double the stmaps(since we are 2)would it be better to put them in a box?
I was looking at bubble envies and I am not sure if the amount will fit.
Please advise.

I got mine the other day and WOO HOOO I was like a little kid at christmas... My bf and I were driving down the road to go home... and I could see the package sticking out of the mailslot... and well I just got all excited... came in the back door completely just stepped over the dog and made a b-line for the front door to the mail slot!! I just got mine today - thank you so much Leslie. Truly a nice gesture. I got a whimsical stemmed flower from Hero Arts, a border by Hero Arts with overlapping circles, a row of flowers by Gardenia and a leaf. All in excellent condition.
