How Do You Use Glimmer Mist?

I see these LO's all the time that have used Glimmer Mist..what is it? Is it hard to use? How do you store it? Thanks in advance for any information you can give me!

It's a shimmery spray that you can use on your pages, and other stuff. You can use it with masks or stencils or just by itself.

Make sure u shake well b4 using since the particles that make it shimmer settle to the bottom and don't spray at a downward angle, this can clog the nozzle.
U can also spray it over painted items or spray a little onto one of those plastic mats then use a brayer to pick it up then roll it onto paper, or whatever else u need it on. This way makes it easy in case u can't spray the stuff on.

I love glimmer mist. I used them on flowers, on layouts, cards, etc - on altered items too. It can be drippy at times but I usually dont mind a few splotches where its heavier. shake well and watch where you spray it.. I use the pearl a lot because it doesnt add color just a sparkle.

Experiment with the spraying distance as well. This will help you figure out how to get the desired effect your after. For a lighter coat I mist it further away and move the bottle quickly left to right. If you get the paper too wet it may tend to curl as well so if you want a darker look I suggest you do light coats and let it dry in between. Unless you're doing a smaller area. I bought a brayer and really want to try the techniques in the video.

You can also spray it on a craft sheet and then paint it on with a brush. You can also get cool effects using cellophane (scrunch it up when the GM is still wet and remove) or a wet rag (roll the rag over the sprayed area while wet).

I LOVE glimmer mist. I use it on flowers, chipboard letters, pearls, mask with it to add a different look to my page and or card, or just spray over the entire page for a total sparkle effect. I will agree you have to remember to shake it up really well so the sparkles don't just sit on the bottom of the bottle.

I just got into glimmer mist. I was told to gently shake it horizontally to mix it up and not up and down as that could clog up the sprayer.

I got a box that fits a 12 x 12 sheet of paper and I put my item in the box and spray. I find when I do it that way I am spraying a little bit further away and I get a finer mist and it doesn't have as many "dots" if you know what I mean.

I have just sprayed directly to the paper and I have also used some of the glimmer screens. I love the effect of the screens. I also cut a shape out of my cricut and used the negative space to make my own mask.

They are addicting...I can already see I want more colors! LOL
