Best Disposable Camera

I am going on a trip to Cedar Point this weekend. Yeah, I'm so excited. I don't want to take my digital camera for fear of losing it. Do you have any recommended disposable cameras that would take some high quality pics??? Thanks so much.

Try one of the Kodak cameras. I've always had really good luck and get at least the 2 pack!

My friend loves the Kodak with a flash. Have fun at CP. You'll be in my neck of the woods! Take a jacket...it's cold there on the water

I've always bought my teenaged DD the Fugi disposable cameras. They have a flash on them too, and you can get them in a 2-pack, which is what I normally do. She's gotten some really good photos out of the Fuji's... I liked them a lot better than the Kodak disposables, and I think that they're really close to the same price Also, since I was totally a traditional "film" SLR user before I got my Digital SLR, I noticed that the colors in Fugi film are much brighter/clearer/sharper than when I used the Kodak films/disposables... But that's just my opinion

We tested a bunch of different disposables prior to our wedding last nov to see which would give us the best pictures (for cameras on the tables). We decided on the Kodak Powerflash (film speed 800). The reason we went with this one in particular is because in a side by side comparison with other brands (all 800 film speed) it took better pictures in low lighting conditions. It was great for indoors, and outside cloudy days. The flash worked up to 20 feet, although the package says 4-16 feet. The other cameras all had alot of grain to the pictures and the flashes did not go as far.

The pictures from these cameras on the tables all came out nice btw...

The two that I use are Kodak and Fuji. I have not had any problems with either

I only use Kodak now. I used to use Fugi, but ran into some really bad luck with the pics coming out fuzzy and was told by the developing place that Fugi has some issues with bad film and that some manufacturing plants or distributors or something were repackaging the cardboard sleeves around the inside camera and putting new dates on them and that people were getting a lot of bad pics. And, for the 1/5 that may complain, it only cost the company a roll of film. But, to the picture taker, it isn't a moment most times that you can go back and do over.

Now, was this true? I saw nothing in the news and read nothing in the papers. But, I DID have over a dozen Fugi cameras from one of our vacations that about 65% of the pics were fuzzy, clouded, 50/50 dark/light on the same pic, etc, which the technician told me that all of those were poor film quality. I have not bought a Fugi since and do not know if this problem of theirs has been corrected. I just know that I can not afford to be without my memories and I certainly can't afford to go back to Aruba and take these pics over again. I will have to live with what I have.

Kodak gets my vote all the way.

We always buy the kids Fuji disposable cameras when they go on trips. But last week I was in Rite Aid and they had Kodak disposable cameras with the viewing screen on the back and were calling them digital cameras. They also have flashes. There were two diffferent style: one with the viewing screen for about $20 and one without for about $11. We will probably buy the screen ones for the kids now because it would be so nice to know what they are taking pictures of and not just dark, shadowy or cut off subjects.

Same here. I haven't used a disposable camera in a long time but I've always had luck with these two brands. One of my best beach photos was taken with a disposable.

I basically get the Fuji disposable cameras & I love them...They have the 800 also & even the 400 work great w/ the flash...I get the Fuji 1000 outdoor camera @ my son football games & the photos are great...

I've used the CVS digital one-time-use camera with great results...a friend even took one with her to England when she went to visit her mother and brought me back great pictures from there!

I bought the Kodaks! Guess youll see how the pics turn out in my los!! thanks
