magnetic sheets?

where have you found them?

not the printable kind, just plain old fashioned magnetic sheets - if they are out there that is.

Paper Wishes has Artbin's new magnetic sheets and carrying case. The carrying case can hold 20 or so magnetic sheets. the case is $15.99 (more than I wanted to spend), and it comes with 3 sheets. But you can buy 3-packs of the sheets by themselves for around $8. That's what i did. I thought I'd just keep the sheets in a folder. I just got the sheets the other day, and they are going to work out great!

AC Moore has them in the section where they have school related crafts. I call it their "miscellaneous" section, because they seem to throw everything there that doesn't fit somewhere else. It's the area where they have feathers in bags, pom poms, adhesive sponge shapes, etc. They have 8.5x11 sheets, rolls of magnet strips, and a long roll that's something like 12x24". Take a coupon, because I thought they were kind of high as far as prices go.

What a clever idea! It just seems intuitive to me that scrappers and other paper crafters would need magnetic sheets. They should be more easily "findable."

I got mine at WM. They come 2 sheets to a package and are 5 X 7 inches. The package is 1.97.

I LOVE THE VENT COVERS. I have used lots and lots of them for my Quickutz dies.
I glue the magnetic vent covers to a 12 x 12 sheet of chipboard front and back. Place cookie cutter dies and slide into a sheet protector.
Much more space and so much more affordable that the QK magnetic folders.

This is what I do also. Have a picture of it in my gallery if it doesn't make sense.

I went to WM and asked if they had the vent covers and they said they didn't carry them anymore so I went to the craft section and the girl there said she knows EVERY INCH of that section and they don't carry them...

Yup I found them there only $1.97 per pkg for 2

I get mine off the phone books every year. They don't come in sheets, but the bigger sized ones are 4x4. Perfect for altering.
