Has anyone used a paper crimper in their albums before? I'm thinking about buying one and would like to know if I should

I have one and have used it a few times. I crimped some fall leaves and have a water border that has some crimped pieces to it. It's an ok tool but I'm glad I can share it with DD & DDIL to get it used enough.

Absolutely love mine! It's amazing the difference a few wrinkles make in a few pine trees on a page, or on a great title made with die cut letters. Try a few metallic stars, crimped, or a fence die cut across the bottom of a page. For some reason, any Halloween page is more exciting with a corrugated spider or cat's tail, or bat. It gives a great 3D effect, and to pronounce that, pop these crimped die cuts out with pop dots.
So....in my book, it's worth the money!

I don't use mine a lot, but it has come in handy a few times. I crimped strips of yellow paper and cut them into bits to make "straw"--very effective. You can also crimp squares and mount punches on them for a border, or crimp mats under photos. It's a handy tool!

I have one. I like it but it isn't for every page. I used the Michael's coupon to get it. That made it more worth it.

It is one of those tools that I am glad I have but I do not use it all that often. Every once in a while I have great ideas that the crimper works great on...for example use it to make the paper cupcake holder. It looks just like the real thing.

I have one but I have yet to use it in a LO. I scrapped a picture of my cow chair to hang at work.

I am not completely sure how to attach the crimped paper to a LO. When I attached it on the picture for work it kind of smooshed out the crimps where the tape was.

Does anyone know what I should use to attach the crimped paper?

I use glue dots on everything!! Try using the mini glue dots on the corners of the crimped paper????? I don't normally have problems with it.

I love my paper crimper - if you get one make sure it is the kind that you can crimp anywhere on the paper. I bought one that made you crimp the whole piece - the front bar didn't open. I hated that. Then I got the SU one that fiskars make and you can open it before you put the paper in - that way you can just crimp where you want to. I use it in the middle of cards all of the time. So cute!!
