    Hi Jen,
I really love clear stamps. Because everything is clear you can see exactly were the stamp is going and it's easier to line up straight.

To use clear stamps peel the stamp off the plastic sheet and stick it the acrylic block. Ink it and stamp like normal. Then clean the stamp and store it back onto the plastic sheet.

For embossing you will need a stamp, ink, embossing powder and a heat gun. Buy an embossing inkpad or try any colorbox ink. You want an ink that will stay wet long enough for the powder to stick. Do your stamping over a piece of spare paper. while the ink is wet pour over some embossing powder. Use the spare paper to pour the extra back into the jar. Then use the heat gun.
    Hope this helps.

Let's start with the stamps and block. Place the flat side of the clear stamp onto the block. It should stick. I like to use the ink pad on the stamp, not the other way around. Gently press the ink pad onto the stamp. When you have even coverage, stamp away.

In order to emboss you will need pigment ink, embossing ink or a glue pad (versamark). Do as you did above, sprinkle with embossing powder, dump extra, flick the back to make sure all excess has been removed (I do this into a tray or even a blank piece of paper so I can save the excess). Use a heat gun (nope, you can't use your blow dryer) to melt the powder.
