Reviving Distress/Stamp ink pads?

Topic Closed
  • Novice Crafter
Does anyone know if there is a way to revive an ink pad that is a little dry? My stamp pads and distress inks were in storage for a bit this year and now they will barely produce any ink. Can you put water on them? I'm out of ideas and desperate for more. I may have ruined around 40 pads! Thanks for helping.

Try turning them upside down for a day and see if the ink comes to the top of the pad but whatever you do do not put water on them!! The distress pads you can buy reinker for but that will cost some $$. Give it a try and then keep them all stored upside down, and they will stay wet for ya. Good luck.

my frayed burlap distress ink was a bit dry when i bought it but i only gave 1.79 for it. just like chuewanita said, i stored it upside down for a week or two and the ink came to the top. but now i keep all my inks upside down.

I hope it works. They're ALL upside down on my table right now. Thanks!

You can a buy a reinker for the Stazon as well.
