Matte v. Glossy Pics

I usually print out my pics in Glossy but my girlfriend does her albums pics in Matte.

Just wondering what others use??

Matte all the way-fingerprints are practically non-existant!

I do glossy,,,walmart pics are easy to wipe prints off (they claim to be practically indestructable), but the shine off them is starting to drive me crazy,,,unfortunately, they don't offer me the option of matte,,,I'm considering going elsehwere to try the matte,,,

Matte - I order Matte from Walmart all the time.

Matte ordering pic's from snappish. When I am in a hurry for my prints I will use glossy.

I use matte as well whenever I can get it because I get loads of fingerprints on my pics if they are glossy. I hate trying to rub them off.

I get Luster from Wal-Mart online when I do digitals. It's not as shiny as glossy, I'd say it's more matte than glossy.

LOVE IT!!! I am going to use that one with the hubby! I am blonde, so it is going to come out alot!

well ALL computers are male you know,,,,,because if they were FEMALE they would behave,,,they would do things in a timely manner, WITHOUT arguing,,,they would not require scans or anti-virus software,,,and they would do them correctly the very first time,,,,,,

Therefore, it makes sense to me that when we have a STOOPID moment, we are having a male moment,,,

sheesh,,,,,,and they call WOMEN empty headed,,,

When I order from Walmart I usually get the lustre or whatever its called, but lately I'm printing some pics at home, and they're glossy.

I like Matte better -- less glare and less fingerprints. With a house full of boys I clean enough fingerprints in the rest of my house!!!

I'm sorry - didn't mean to confuse you! It does say "luster" instead of matte, but it's just like matte. When you view your cart, there is a section that says "Print finish: select a paper finish for your prints" and you can check luster or glossy.

I prefer glossy as to me the details show up more. I use one of those mini shamy cloths to get the fingerprints off before popping in a sheet projector - real easy with one of those. Sams, where I've been getting my pics done for a couple of years, is not doing glossy any more; which has be bummed.

I prefer the look of Matte. I use snapfish and always have to remember to change it to Matte.

I like a matte finish as well, no fingerprint worries. I order the gloss lustre finish from Walmart because it is a matte finish that looks glossy, and the detail on my photos is pretty fantastic. You can also get it in the store so long as you don't use the machines. At home I have a print on Kodak Ultra Semi-Gloss, which I get from Office Depot whenever they have a sale.
