Big Shot/Big Kick using Resolution die cuts

Does anyone know if you can use Resolution die cuts with the Big Shot/Big Kick machine. Input welcome. Sandra

I know that you can use the Revolution dies with the original Sizzix machine (the one with the pull handle) but I'm not sure about the Big Shot/Kick.

That makes me wonder...Do you think that the Revolution dies would work in a Side-kick/Tag-A-Long?

I found this somewhere (not sure as I belong to several message boards)...if anyone recognizes it, please post original contributors information. Thanks.

QuicKutz : vellum, cardstock, fun foam, mulberry paper, tranparencies (can use as
stencils), some people have reported being able to cut thinner chipboard and
felt with the Revolution and the 4 x 4 dies (with foam removed), felt (I've had
success cutting the simpler shapes with the foam removed in the Cuttlebug and
Sizzix machines)

Classic Sizzix: vellum, cardstock, fun foam, mulberry paper, leather, denim,
fabric, metal, chipboard, felt, plastic, faux fur, foil, heat and shrink
plastic, paper wood, Self-adhesive rubber (for making rubber stamps), sheet
magnet, sponge, static cling vinyl, transparencies

Sizzlits: metal, cardstock, vellum, specialty paper, felt, fun foam, fabric,
chipboard

Cuttlebug: cardstock, vellum, specialty papers, chipboard, transparencies, cloth

Bosskutz: Vellum, cardstock,

Big Shot Thick Cuts* dies: card stock, lightweight chipboard, coaster material,
felt, fabric, stencil plastic, polyshrink, acetate/transparency, thin sheet
metal, leather, etc.

Big Shot Thin Cuts (wafer style, just like the Sizzlit; card stock max)

Big Shot Cut n' Emboss (wafer style, cut and emboss; card stock max)

Wizard: Spellbinders Cutting, Embossing and Stenciling dies - cardstock, vellum,
light weight chipboard, soda cans, thin balsa wood, material backed with fusing,
thin leather, fun foam, air dry clay, etch art board, shrink plastic, sheet
magnet, felt, hvac tape, styrofoam and craft foil

Klic N Kut: comes in sizes that can cut 8.5, 13 or 15". All of them have 500g of
pressure. There is an embossing tool, a pen tool and two blades (one for paper,
one for chipboard). Can cut paper, cardstock, vinyl, chipboard, fabric, leather.

DIE CUTTING MACHINE COMPATIBILITY

QuicKutz (regular) dies 2x2, 2x4: Can be cut in---QK hand tool, QK revolution,
Sizzix Sidekick (with wafer adapter),classic Sizzix machine with Sizzlit adapter
and plastic wafer adapter, Cuttlebug

QuicKutz Revolution dies: can be cut in Cuttlebug, QK Revolution,
BigShot/BigKick (???? not confirmed), Classic sizzix (???? not confirmed)

Cuttlebug dies: Cut in CB, classic sizzix machine (all including embossing
folders), Sizzix sidekick (depending on size), Big Shot

Bosskutz: small 2 x 2 can be cut in the QK handtool (although edges might not
work), 2 x 2 can be cut in the Classic sizzix machine with wafer adapter,
alphabets and small dies cut in Big Shot, Cuttlebug, Wizard

Sizzix (Classic dies): cut in classic sizzix machine, CB (problems with cracking
plates), BigKick, Big Shot

Sizzix Bigz dies: cut in BigShot, BigKick and Cuttlebug.

Sizzlits: Sizzix sidekick, classic Sizzix machine, CB, Big Shot

Wizard dies: Can be cut in ZipeMate, Big Shot, Big Kick, QK Revolution, QK

Please note that the newest Sizzix Bigz XL die are not included in the list. Due to their size, they ONLY work with the Sizzix Big Shot.
