Help please! Cellophane bags and adhesive

Hopefully someone out there knows the trick to placing items BACK into the bags that have the flap with temporary adhesive.
I usually throw them away. But, lately I found that I am sorry I did not keep the original packaging for dies etc. And, do you know how to cut of the adhesive circles that hold a package of designer paper? Gee, I am having a time here and don't want to damage the paper!

For the bags with adhesive, I just fold the flap inside once I've removed the die. You can put the die back in without any hassle. Of course you can't reseal the bag, but most of the time that doesn't matter.

Ever since that episode of tainting a bottle of aspirin, packaging has gone bonkers. You need professional tools to open anything. But you need the tool to open the package the tool comes in.

I do the same as Darla, and fold the flaps inside. Or cut them off completely.

Those adhesive disks on paper that won't come off, I get my knife and slit through the disk at the front and back of the paper pack, removing the part that had stuck to the paper edges. Does that make sense?

I toss the bags and make holders out of cereal boxes. If the package has a picture and/or instructions I attach them to my holder.

It's usually loose paper that I try to put back into the cellophane bags until I get a chance to properly organize it. I flip the adhesive flap to the back, kind of rolling it backwards and sticking it to the outside of the back of the cello, slide the paper, c/s, embellishments or whatever into the bag, then fold the flap back into place to keep everything from falling out. Hope you can figure out what I mean. I don't keep it this way permanently unless it's something I'm going to use soon. Then it's a good way to put all the corresponding pieces together and keep them clean.

For the little round disks, I do like Rosey and use a sharp blade to carefully cut along the front and back covers, then the label over the paper edges comes off easily. Sometimes I can use my fingernail to get the label loose and pull it off, but some just won't come off that way.

I was watching a video on YouTube a while ago, dont remember who's video, and they used a ruler to cover the adhesive on the packaging, slide their papers/dies back in and then remove the ruler.

Ive started doing this, works like a charm!

I just cut mine off. I haven't had too much of an issue with items falling out of the open packaging. I will have to try the ruler trick that Melissa posted about.
