Where Do You Get Your Odd Size Photos? Online?

Hello Ladies and Fellow Scrappers and Stampers

First of all, I love all your projects and what and how you do them, and when I grow up I want to stamp & scrap just like you - LOL

I was wondering where you order your odd sized photos for scrapbooking( i.e. 6x6, 8x8, 12x12, ect..). And is there any that don't cost an arm and a leg?
I usually use the typical 4x6 standard photo size, but sometimes I wouldn't mind playing with a different size at times. I love seeing the bigger sizes in many of your layouts, but I have yet to find anyone online that specialize in any uncommon sizes.

Please help me, I would really appreciate any and all help that anyone can offer me

I get mine at Sam's Club.

    I order mine at costco.

I either order mine at Costco if I'm planning on a lot of scrapping, and I have a photoprinter at home and I use a photoshop program to crop them to whatever size needed.

I take my memory cards to walmart. They will print out whatever sizes you need. I have actually not tried it yet, but I heard that you can send pictures to walmart and walgreens from your computer at home and they will put them into pictures of whatever size you want as well! I have thought about doing different sizes too. 4x6 pictures are getting old!!

I do mine at walgreens and love that I can sit here and upload and order, and then pick them up, and pay for them at the store. No credit card needed!!

I have just started using editing software and puting my odd sizes into a custom "picture package" on an 8x10, then I order through costco, $1.39 or somewhere thereabouts (in Canada). You can also do the same thing in a 4x6 or 5x7 format if what you need is smaller. You would want to do what is most cost effective, ie. 6 4x6s would cost .75c.

I often just crop my photos to the size I want. I sometimes print 8x10s or 5x7s on my printer and then cut them to the size I want. I am also going for more 2x3s and 2x2s just to mix things up! Costco prints 8x8s. Another size I like to work with is 5x5.

I have used http://www.scrapbookpictures.com for about 4 years and really like the quality. Shipping is flat rate $2 (not sure if the 12x12 photos cost more or not?). You upload your photos and then crop them online, super easy to use and I am always satisfied.

    Good Morning Ladies,

Thank you for all your help and suggestions, I really appreciate them

I don't have a club membership at Sam's Club, I used to have one at Costco, but because it is just my husband, my daughter & I we really don't need to buy in bulk. But I will say that they had the Best picture color I have seen in person. I had no idea that they did odd sized pictures, but to have a membership just for pictures would be silly, but I may have to talk to my husband about getting the membership again We have a Sam's & a Costco near us, I know this is rude, but which is better with their photo developing?

I used to develop at Walmart but HATE the Service (I know it's probably at only my store, but still), and the colors are VERY OFF!!! I mean the Blue undertones are absolutely ridiculous!!!! We went on vacation and took over 300 pictures and sent them to Walmart to develop. We even adjusted the color online before, hoping that they would have less Blue in them, but the whole batch was still Blue! So we refused to pay for them and received a new set on them. But that was the straw that broke the camels back. I tried Walgreens once and totally forgot about them, I might try them again, then. But I don't think they offer sizes like 6x6, 8x8, and 12x12, though. I might be wrong but I would love it if they did them.
I do not have a good photo printing at home. I have a Cannon photo printer, but it ONLY prints 4x6. The color isn't that great and I can't really do much with the color anyway, if I want to make something cool or do a neat effect on my pics. That is what I would like to do too, have the ability to fix and play with my pictures. Is there a good/great home printer system that you ladies love or recommend?

I was thinking that I wouldn't get many replies, but I sure did, Thank You Ladies! You have been more then helpful

    Have a great day, Amanda

I generally don't do pictures bigger than 8.5x11, so I'm able to print out whatever size I want at home. In fact I do all my photo printing at home.

    Hi Bling Queen,

How do you print your pictures? What paper do you like to use? I don't have a laser printer so the inks seem to rub off or the image gets very fuzzy. What printer and what kind do you own? Do you Photo Shop? I don't know how to Photo Shop at all, so I want to learn that as well

  • SoonerT
You can order them online but, I print mine at home.
