How to print mirror image with Word?

My old printer had this capability in the "properties".....however, the printer refused to communicate with my Vista pc. I purchased a basic Canon printer, which works great, however, I cannot find a way to print in reverse. (letters on back of pp to cut out). I know there has to be a way to do this with Word, but for the life of me, I can't figure it out! Any ideas?

I know someone told me how once but I only have Word on my work computer and it wouldn't let me. However, I could tell you how to do it in Power Point if you have that.

On mine if I click Print on the File Menu then print it brings up the print box and I click on properties and then the basic tab....

I found the Power Point program........have never used it though! :-)

So sorry you are having troubles... I am afraid to upgrade to Vista for the same reasons.

In MSWord, you can use the WordArt feature.

On the "Drawing Toolbar" (at the bottom of my page)click WordArt (the tilted "A" icon)

Select a style. This will be the starting point of what your text will look like. I often start with the half-circle, and then change it later, because this doesn't have a shadow effect on the font.

Type in the text that you want and pick the font that you like. Click "OK" to save it.

Click on what you just typed, and a WordArt box will open, for the moment, ignore that and click on the word "Draw" in the lower left corner.

Pick "Rotate or Flip"

And you can spin and turn your text any way you like.

More playing with your WordArt toolbox: If you want to make your font horizontal vs vertical, change the spacing of the letters, play with colors or change the font you can do all of that within the WordArt box.

You can do this same thing in PowerPoint.

Thanks for the info, Antonella! Your instructions work perfectly! I also received a reply from the Canon tech support-perhaps this info will be helpful to someone else as well. I just need to go into the main menu of my printer, and select media type..then click T-shirt transfer, and it automatically reverses the image. Pretty easy! :-)
