Paper Wishes Personal Shopper

Is anyone a member of the monthly kit from Paper Wishes called personal shopper? I got a charter invitation this past summer and have been toying with the idea of joining. I just stumbled across the paperwork in a pile of old scrapbook catalogs. Any opinions?

Hi! I just cancelled my subscription to Paper Wishes Personal Shopper. I used to subscribe to Club Scrap and absolutely loved their kits. The card stock and quality of the items is great. I cancelled that subscription when I was planning my wedding because I just didn't have any time to scrap and it made me feel guilty to be spending the $ and not using the supplies. When I went to re-join club scrap, I had also received in the mail, the Paper Wishes invite and since I had ordered different things from Paper Wishes before, I thought I would give them a try. Their kits are nice. Lots of fibers, brads, clips, etc... and the paper prints are always unique. My only disappointment with them is that most of the paper was very thin (like typing paper weight), and it is all joined together (perforated that you have to separate). I prefer to scrap my traditional pages on/with cardstock for durability and stability. I will be switching back to club scrap.
If you don't have a preference between card stock or normal weight paper and if you like lots of ribbon and clippy things, then you might consider giving them a try.

I've been a paper wishes personal shopper club memeber since September of last year. There has only been one kit that I did not like. I think the newsletter is fabulous... has tons of ideas to try. The embellishments and ribbons are great! The paper that is joined together are matching papers - it is supposed to make it easier for us to tell which ones go together. Also, most of the paper is thin, however they come with solid color papers that are thicker. I always receive more paper than what is displayed in the newspaper. I love the paper selections!

Also, the kit always comes with one card to put together and various other crafts...one recently came with a template (that I just love)...one sarah book...etc.

My only complaint is they always ask for opinions on the kits but never respond... I'm referring to my negative response to the one kit I had. Also, should you ever purchase anything on their site (which I have done quite regularily) it takes FOREVER to get the stuff(!)and a lot is consistently on back order.

The kits come on a timely basis... I'm always checking my front stoop the first week of the month.

I like the kit very much and would suggest it to anyone interested in kits. I think the company is well known and respected in the industry which makes it easier for me to give them access to my checking, lol.

[/color My friend belonged to that one and the paper quality was awful, she quit and we both started the Leaving Prints / OTB subscription......I loved it so much, I became a consultant. The kits are huge and always on time!!!! I am currently overseas and I get mine about 1 day later than my friend in the states and I don't pay any additional shipping!!!!
