One-Sheet Wonder Concept

I thought I had seen something that was like a one-sheet wonder concept for scrapbooking layouts using double-sided paper. It offered a cutting guide for 2-3 sheets of paper and a sketch to make 2-3 different layouts using those pattern papers. Of course I didn't bookmark it and now I can't find it, or of course the other option is that I have completely dreamed this up! Any ideas?

I don't know about this, but I hope someone else does because it sounds so wonderful. I'll be following your post to see the answers. Thanks for starting this thread.

All I can find it for cards not 12x12 pages

Well I found a few links for a 6x6 album, but nothing for 12x12 pages. Maybe I was dreaming of this ~ if I could only remember how to put them together!

The funny thing is when I click on the google link, this thread pops up lol. Struck me funny.

One of the mags (I think was SB etc) used to do this way back when. I think it is even more appropriate now, when we're all trying to stretch our budgets and supplies to the max Hope you find everything you're looking for!!

I have 5 of these tools. Three of them are to make 16-pages and 2 for 20-pages. Some are Stampin' Up specific (using their Simply Scrappin' kit) but could easily be adapted to cardstock and designer paper of other companies. The other guides can be used with any designer papers. I'm also taking a class in 3 weeks and we will make 16-pages too (in the Ottawa/CANADA region).

I'm a huge HUGE fan of those! There are SOOO GREAT! They are huge time saver and you are left with very few scraps after cutting the papers! So no waste of time, no scraps, and album made in a record time! And you can use the guides over and over… by just changing the paper and colors, you'll get different pages. For 2 guides for 16-pagers I made, I gave 4 layout ideas per double page so you can do it as much as you can, no one will tell that you "reused" the cutting guide!

I'm looking for other guide like that myself and are ready to pay for them, they worth every penny. In fact, I googled a search and found these posts on scrapbook.com! If you know someone who sells them, please email me! I would greatly appreciate it!

The only problem is that the ones I have are not free. They are sold for 20$ each. I made 2 myself and it took me about 50 hours (no kidding) to make one so you understand why there are not widely available for free on the Internet! But you might find some "smaller" version of those, for 4-pagers maybe.

I have never seen these or anything, but I kinda do this on my own. You will be surprised at how far a 12x12 sheet of paper will stretch sometimes! If I am matting a larger picture, I will cut the middle out of the mat and use it somewhere else. I love being able to see how much I can get out of one sheet.
