What is a good die cutting machine for business cards?

I am trying to make my own business cards. Right now I am using my printer and cutting them out on a guillotine paper cutter. This method is cumbersome and imprecise.

Can anyone recommend a better way to do this? Are there more basic cutting machines? Not something hand cranked or narrow.

go to the office supply store and buy business card blanks. Download the free Avery program. They will help you make your cards. I have been doing this for over 20 years.

Thanks, but I don't like those templates. I've gotten very elaborate with mine (fancy paper and cardstock) and those don't cut it.

You're asking for something basic, but not hand-cranked, which limits the options. Would a small electronic cutter like the Silhouette Portrait do the job?

If you need to make your own, How about 2 12" strips of heavy plastic, one 2" and the other 3Â½". Then use an Xacto knife to cut.
I wonder if someone has made a biz card size die?

I don't know. I tried to look up the various types of machines but got so confused.

Would a hand-cranked one handle an entire sheet at once?

I would recommend the Silhouette cameo. It is used in many design businesses from planner stickers to shirt designers and more. If you are using Adobe Illustrator to create your cards they have a plug in for it as well.
I think it would worth checking them out.

It's hand cranked and you have to do it individually.
