Uses for Scraps of photo paper?

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to make use of the scraps of photo paper I cut off when I print my pictures. Some are strips like 8.5 x 3 or 2 x 2 squares, etc.

I don't like to waste if there is a great ideas for it out there.

I save the bigger pieces for experimenting. I like to try out new adhesives, pens or techiniques on an old, cut up photos before moving onto the real photo.

I've just saved them with my other white paper scraps. They're good if something needs a glossy bit - like when I use a die-cut of a fast food soft drink, I like to have the straw cut from glossy paper.

Oh good idea about using for glossy die cuts.

I just got a new printer, have only printed a few pics for my DS to use, but I did save the scraps.

I was thinking of playing around with them and see if ...
1) I can make embellies. I think the photo paper would be good for snowflakes and other snow things and even balloons
2) see how well they take glimmer mist and maybe make some flowers and other embellies
3) Backing stickers, adhesive chipboard and fussy cuts from thin paper that I want to pop-dot on a LO or card
4) (brainstorming...brainstorming)

I'll be interested to hear more ideas and will stop back if I think of anything else.

Thanks for the post, I just bought photo paper sheets for the first time and was wondering myself.

Can anyone tell which kinds of ink won't smear if I stamp on it?

Sometimes if the photo scrap is of grass or sky I use it to cut out title letters...can be really pretty

I've done that with scraps of cropped photos - I had a ton of leftover water from cropping photos for the whale page below, so I used it to die-cut letters out of for another page in the same album (see further below).

I do this for a lot of my titles. Like when I took way too many pictures of Seattle - cut up the ret with my slice for letter. (An idea I scraplifted from sbartist. (And I hate it but my "L" is crooked - didn't realize it until I posted it.

with my scraps i like to scan them sometimes and make coordinating paper. then use the scraps with the coordinating paper. my daughter also scrapbooks and she uses everything, if it doesn't match, she'll add something to it to make it match! creative genius!
