Writing on Black Cardstock

Hi, has anyone written on heavy black cardstock? What type, color and brand do you find works best? I bought some metallic and they kind of fade. I want the colors to pop. I am thinking Sharpie acrylic? I don't know. If you are familiar with doing this please respond, thanks

I always use my gel pens - there is a whole video about the best ones out there though I find the standard jelly roll pens (Sakura) or the one by Pentel are fantastic. If you go with the Sakura soufflé, just know that it goes on pale then “soufflés” to a nice bright white. While most of the bright gel pens work great, I like the extra sparkle of the sparkle gel pens. There are also a number of markers specifically made to write on black/dark cardstock but, for the most part, I find them underwhelming.
