Erase pencil on white cardstock??

I need to totally erase pencil marks on a white cardstock layout.

I wrote very lightly with a mechanical pencil and am using a white art eraser.

Why won't it all come off??

Most likely because the cardstock is textured and you can't reach the deeper parts of the paper with the eraser. I would think that the white eraser would do the trick.

Maybe try one of those brown art erasers....they seem softer than the white ones and might be able to get in the grooves more. Maybe?

maybe you need a better quality eraser? I have 2 white erasers and one definitely works better than the other.

I use a gray gum eraser and it works wonders! I don't know the brand of it, but it's the consistency of sticky tack (the stuff teachers use to hang posters).
