Best Eyelet Setter

What would you say the best eyelet setter is? I need a new one badly and want to get the best!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Crop-A-Dile! However, I HATE the Silent Setter by PC. I don't know if anybody else had the same problems as I did with the SS, but it never wanted to set the eyelets all the way. I'm not a very strong person and had to literally bang on it to get it to even set the eyelet a little. The Crop-A-Dile's only $25 at HL and my mom used a 40% off Coupon to get mine for my birthday...very worth the money! And they're coming out (or already have out, I don't know) with colors besides the default pink. I'm not picky about the color of mine...I just love the tool! I would definitely recommend it.

I love my crop a dile too. But it doesnt reach very far. I have my clickit tool that i love too that sets eyelets anywhere

Yeah, that is the only problem with the Crop A Dile, but so far I haven't needed to set eyelets very far. Generally I only attach eyelets to embellishments, not to the actual paper.

I just got the Making Memories instant setter and I like it a lot!

Love my crop-a-dile. If I need to set an eyelet somewhere else that it won't reach, the old hammer comes out. Nothing works better than it!

I love my silent setter. The only problem I've had is it doesn't like the Making Memories eyelets. It works great with zision and AMM

I have the MM silent setter, and it is definitely NOT silent...I have never tried the crop-a-dile, does it make much noise???

I love my Chop a dile. I purchased it when it first came out, just because it was a new tool and looked cool. Plus the Making Memories style hurt my wrist when I had to set the eyelets.

Once I received it I found that it is very easy to use and vertile. Meaning it will work with differant eyelets and can be use for just making hold punch.

Plus it is one toll that punches and set with one hand if you are stong.

I forget the name of the one I own. It's one of those that's a spring and you hold it down on the page, pull up in the back and let go. I don't like it at all. It hurts the hand that is holding the spring, so much energy is lost into your hand It's also hard to line up correctly. I prefer the old fashioned hammer and setter kind from MM but I haven't tried the crop-o-dile yet.

i thought i wanted the silent setter, but maybe not! i'm going to compare prices for the crop-a-dile. keep the advice coming!

I stayed away from using eylets because they were a pain in the butt to set. But, last night at my LSS I got to use the crop a dile oh my goodness got to have one it was the easiest thing to use my grandson could do it lol so for you that don't have the strength this tool is it!!! They ran out while I was shopping so I didn't get to buy one I'm going to go to M or Joanns and hopefully find one with the Coupon of course lol.

Love the Crop-A-Dile. You can even emboss with it. The video is on CK web site. I got mine at Michaels with a 50% Coupon .

crop-a-dile all the way..
the only problem is you can't use it in betweeb the page..the max length it can go upto is 2"..

My LSS has both the Crop-A-Dile and the Karen Foster Clikit. I've used the Clikit at two classes I've taken at the LSS. I loved it so much I bought one for myself right after Christmas (Santa didn't bring it to me ). I haven't used it at home yet because I haven't done any scrapping since before Christmas.

I've never used the Crop-A-Dile. It looked really complicated to me. At the last class I went to it jammed or something and the owner was trying to fix it. I never got to see how it worked (but considering it jammed it didn't make a good impression on me!).

OMG, I'm still using the MM tools with the hammer because I LOVE to make noise. Now I know a lot of you scrap when the kids are sleeping, but I'm out in a room by myself and that hammer and tool works great. (I think it stems back to childhood when I had to be quiet all the time, LOL).

i have a provo-craft and i really like it. You can put the hole anywhere on a page. You just squish it down. Really easy and not noisy like the hammer.

I LOVE my crop a dile. Setting snaps with a hammer dimples them and I HATE that!! Plus with a cropadile you can punch through almost anything with little or no effort. It's not THAT complicated there's a giuide on the back of the packaging and letters and numbers that correspond with one another. A1 sets this ans this, B2 sets this and this. LOVE it and so does my BF who is trying to sleep when I'm scrapping at night.
