Covering a scrapbook

Hi everybody,
Does anybody have instructions on how to cover a scrapbook? I have some material that I want to cover it with, but I'm not exactly sure how to do it. If somebody can post some instructions or guidelines I'd appreciate it. If you have other questions just ask. Thanks!

what do you want to cover it with?

I want to cover it with some material from a fabric shop. Then the material will be decorated later.

I used a spray adhesive. I cut up my dh jeans and glued it on my dd's scrapbook. I don't remember the brand name but I see it all the time around with the glue. It looks like a paint can, I hope this helps?

I was hoping for some start-to-finish directions on how to cover the book. Anybody done this that can post the instructions? I'm confused.

The album has screws in it and I want to remove those and cover the front and back with material separately.

this is how i used to cover 3 ring binders to make into a photo album. you should be able to fine tune it to work with a post bound book. i used a hot glue gun. sometimes i use a thin layer of batting, or sometimes if the material is thick enough, i just use the fabric. i cut the fabric o ut about 2 inches bigger than the album. then put a line of glue along the edge of the inside of the cover. pull your fabric tightly and glue it down a few inches at a time. then, i take a piece of posterboard or chipboard and cover it witht the fabric the same way. then, glue it to the inside of the album to cover the inside. it is not hard to do, just remember to keep the fabric tight as you go. you will probably need to cover the flaps that cover the posts with just fabric and a craft glue so there aren't lumps from the glue gun. if you have any questions, feel free to pm me and i willl try to help. i hope this helps.
