What adhesive to use on glitter vellum paper

I am working on a wedding album for my daughter-am having trouble mounting photos on glittery vellum background paper. The paper really set off the picture of the bride but when I used photo sticker squares-nothing stuck. What do you recommend?

double stick tape?

You don't care if you can see it thru the other side right?

Maybe Super77 spray adhesive?

I use wacky tack vellum tape on it and it works all the time for me. I don't know how/why glittery vellum would be any different- is the glitter embedded in the paper or on the surface?

The glitter is on the suface and the squares pick up the glitter from the paper so there is less sticky surface for the photo to stick to-also the glitter makes the surface of the paper some what raised and rough.

I don't have any experience with this, but could you use a file or sandpaper to sand down the glitter in the area where you want to adhere your pics/embellies?

I think I'd use brads. Maybe glue dots.

I think maybe use tape to take the glitter off (if you can) and then attach the pics to it.

Brads would work well too. Or eyelets- maybe use a combination of brads/eyelets and photo corners if you don't want to put holes in the pics.

I have used a heavy glitter card stock and have had trouble with adhesives but found that Glue Dots worked great. I have never used them on vellum though.

Maybe you should use a liquid glue.

Have you tried spray adhesive? I love elmer's spray adhesive.. its archival, completely invisible under vellum, and I've used it to hold some big heavy items and it works great!
