Silhouette Cameo Help!!!!

I just got the Cameo in the mail. I went to cut out a design and my mat slipped while cutting. Has this ever happen to anyone else? How do I stop it from happening again? Also my mat is so sticky that it ripped my paper and I cant get it off. What should I do? Thanks

hi there.. i have a cameo and i love it!

first about your mat slipping. on the right side of the roller bar is a lever.. make sure the lever is locked down tight. that should fix the slipping.

about your super sticky mat... whenever i get a new mat i use my hands to lessen the stickiness. and my tshirt. i press my hands all over the mat and then press the mat on my tshirt and peel it off.. do this several times and it will help it from being too sticky

Also make sure you have load mat and NOT load media selected. Sometimes is the simple little things that make a big difference.
