More expensive JoAnn Albums vs Creative Memories

I know there is already a post about JoAnn albums but they are talking about cheap ones. I am asking about the 12x12 albums JoAnn's sells for $30 and they look pretty much like the creative memories albums. They are strap Hinge. Has anyone used these and had good or bad experiences. I was also wondering about the strap hinges has anyone had the staples come out from too much use.

I love my strap ones and I have never had anything fall apart on them but I have only ever used the cm ones so I know nothing about joann's sorry!!

I only use CM albums. I mainly use the 12x12, which run about $36 for CM, but they have a lifetime guarantee on the strap hinge. Very nice album, comes in great colors and is easy to use.

If you're talking about the Westrim albums, I have a couple, and they're great!!! I got mine at Michael's when they're half off....

I have some CM albums for the "good stuff", but I expect my dog books to take a bit more abuse....eventually, they'll go to fundraisers, etc. So, I didn't want to put a ton of $$ into them.

I personally think the Creative Memories albums are awesome, and I am totally into the strap hinges.
